Sensor - Ambient Air Temperature (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the front windows.
  2. Remove the front fascia assembly. See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install).
  3. Disconnect the ambient air temperature sensor electrical connector.
  4. Press the retaining arms on the clip on the ambient air temperature sensor, and then pull the sensor downward to remove it from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Position the ambient air temperature sensor into the vehicle, align the datum with the opening in the active grille shutter assembly, and then install the sensor into the assembly.
  2. Connect the ambient air temperature sensor electrical connector.
  3. Install the front fascia assembly. See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install).
  4. Raise the front windows and close the LH front door.
