Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH falcon wing door.
  2. Remove the LH rear sill panel trim. See Trim - Sill Panel - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Open the liftgate.
  4. Release the clips (x4) that attach the LH trunk sill side trim to the body, and then remove the side trim from the vehicle.

    • Plastic trim tool
  5. Remove the LH mid C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Mid - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the LH lower C-pillar trim to the vehicle.

    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Torx T25 socket
  7. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the LH lower C-pillar trim to the LH mid C-pillar zone bracket, and then remove the trim from the vehicle.

    • 4 in extension
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Torx T20 socket

Install

  1. Position the LH lower C-pillar trim on the vehicle, and then install the screws (x2) that attach the trim to the LH mid C-pillar bracket.
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)

    • Ratchet/torque wrench
    • Torx T20 socket
  2. Install a new bolt that attaches the LH lower C-pillar trim to the vehicle.
    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)

    • Ratchet/torque wrench
    • Torx T25 socket
  3. Install the LH mid C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Mid - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the clips (x4) that attach the LH trunk sill side trim to the vehicle.
  5. Close the liftgate.
  6. Install the LH rear sill panel trim. See Trim - Sill Panel - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Close the LH falcon wing door.
