Closeout - Cup Holder - Seat - 3rd Row (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open all the doors and lower the LH and RH front windows.
  2. Move the driver and front passenger seats fully forward.
  3. Move LH and RH 2nd row seats fully forward.
  4. Lift the 3rd row seat cushion from the seat frame.

    CAUTION
    Be careful not to damage the electrical harness that is routed onto the lower side of the seat cushion.

    Note
    Use a telescoping hood prop (1080562-00-A) or similar to hold up the seat cushion.
  5. Remove the screw that attaches the USB hub to the seat cushion.
    1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
  6. Release the clips (x8) that attach the 3rd row seat cup holder closeout to the seat cushion.
  7. Disconnect the USB hub electrical connector.
  8. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the USB hub to the 3rd row seat cup holder closeout, and then remove the hub from the closeout.
    1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)

Install

  1. Position the USB hub onto the 3rd row seat cup holder closeout, and then install the screws (x2) that attach the hub to the closeout.
    1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
  2. Connect the USB hub electrical connector.
  3. Position the 3rd row seat cup holder closeout into the seat cushion, and then secure the clips (x8) that attach the closeout to the seat cushion.
  4. Install the screw that attaches the USB hub to the seat cushion.
    1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)

    • Torx T20 bit
  5. Secure the tabs (x2) that attach the 3rd row seat cushion to the vehicle.

    Note
    Feed the seat cushion electrical harness below the seat back rest.
  6. Move the LH and RH 2nd row seats back to the original position.
  7. Move the driver and front passenger seats back to their original position.
  8. Close LH and RH front windows and close all doors.
