Panel - Lower Rear - Center Console (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Release the clips (x6) that attach the center console lower rear panel to the center console.

    Note
    Release the lower clips last, and then pull the panel rearward to release it.
  2. Release the connector lock, disconnect the center console rear footwell light electrical connector, and then remove the center console lower rear panel from the center console.

    Note
    The connector lock is located underneath the bracket.
  3. Release the tabs (x3) that attach the center console rear footwell light lens to the center console lower rear panel assembly, and then remove the lens from the assembly.
  4. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the center console rear footwell light assembly to the center console lower rear panel, and then remove the light assembly from the panel.
    1 Nm (.7 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T10 socket

Install

  1. Position the center console rear footwell light assembly onto the center console lower rear panel, and then install the screws (x2) that attach the light assembly to the panel.
    1 Nm (.7 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Make sure the datums align and are flush with the assembly before installing the screws.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T10 socket
  2. Position the center console rear footwell light lens onto the center console lower rear panel assembly, and then secure the tabs (x3) that attach the lens to the assembly.

    Note
    Make sure the lens is flush with the panel.
  3. Position the center console lower rear panel assembly into the vehicle, and then connect the center console rear footwell light electrical connector and engage the locking tab.

  4. Secure the clips (x6) that attach the center console lower rear panel to the center console.
