Remove
- Apply masking tape to the surrounding work area of the spoiler assembly to prevent damage to vehicle.
- Apply tape to surrounding work area of the liftgate to prevent damage to liftgate.

Carefully insert an equalizer blade
between the spoiler applique and lower spoiler to cut through the urethane, and the
remove the spoiler applique from the lower spoiler.
TIpUse a wedge to help separate the applique to allow for additional clearance for the equalizer blade to access the urethane and prevent contact to the body.
Install
- Clean and remove excess urethane from the surface of the spoiler lower wing assembly.

Make sure the CHMSL lamp harness is
routed properly on the lower spoiler assembly.
NoteUse tape to secure the harness onto the lower spoiler wing assembly.
- Apply beta seal primer onto the spoiler lower wing assembly.
- Prepare the caulking gun and urethane.
- Apply beta seal express onto the surface of spoiler lower wing assembly.

Install the spoiler applique onto the
spoiler lower wing assembly.
NoteCheck the gaps and fitment from side to side and front to back, and adjust as necessary.NoteApply equal pressure when applying the applique.NoteIf needed, use tape to attach the applique to the lower wing assembly.NoteAllow 1 hour for the urethane dry time.NoteRemove the masking tape after the dry time has passed.
