Remove the bolt and release the push
clips (x3), and then and remove the RH front wheel liner from the HV battery.Conseil : Nous recommandons l’utilisation des outils suivants :
- Douille de 10 mm
-
Secure the RH front wheel liner away
from the HV battery with a bungee cord.
- Put a coolant drain container below the RH front of the vehicle.
-
Disconnect the PT supply hose.
RemarquePlug the hose connections, as needed.Conseil : Nous recommandons l’utilisation des outils suivants :
- Pick Radiator Hose Soft Grip 10.30in
- Coolant Hose Plug Kit (1135762-00-A)
- Fluid Catcher (1080568-00-A)
-
Close both valves on the
regulator.
Conseil : Nous recommandons l’utilisation des outils suivants :
- Enclosure Leak Test Kit (1140501-00-A)
- Coolant Reservoir Pressure Test Adapter
-
Connect the regulator to air
supply.
-
Turn the right side regulator valve to
the open position.
RemarqueTurn the valve knob to a horizontal position. The valve is fully open.
-
Set the regulator to 5.0 psi.
-
Slowly open the left side regulator
valve and allow the coolant to completely drain.
RemarqueHold the HV battery RH front inlet hose over the fluid catcher.RemarqueLet the regulator hose hang off vehicle, as needed.RemarqueAllow about 15L of coolant to drain from the vehicle.
-
Close the valves on regulator once no
coolant is draining from the HV battery RH front inlet port and hose.
-
Disconnect the air supply from the
regulator tool.
-
Connect the PT supply hose, and then
secure it with clips (x2).
RemarqueRemove the plugs as needed.RemarquePerform a push-pull-push test of the hose.
- Remove the coolant drain container from underneath the vehicle.
-
Release the bungee cord from the RH
front wheel liner.
-
Install the bolt and fasten the push
clips (x3) that attach the RH front wheel liner to the HV battery, and then lower the
wheel well area.Conseil : Nous recommandons l’utilisation des outils suivants :
- Douille de 10 mm
- Lower the vehicle until the tires are touching the ground.
-
Disconnect the enclosure leak tester
from the coolant reservoir pressure test adapter.
-
Remove the coolant reservoir pressure
test adapter from the coolant bottle assembly.
Remplir
-
Put an empty coolant container into
the front storage area of the underhood storage unit.
Conseil : Nous recommandons l’utilisation des outils suivants :
- Battery Coolant Drain Kit (1065131-00-A)
-
Fill another container with at least
15L of coolant.
Conseil : Nous recommandons l’utilisation des outils suivants :
- Battery Coolant Drain Kit (1065131-00-A)
-
Put the filled coolant container into
front storage area of the underhood storage unit.
-
Setup the vacuum refill tool.
RemarqueVerify all valves on refill tool are in the closed position.Conseil : Nous recommandons l’utilisation des outils suivants :
- Vacuum Refill Tool (1050448-00-B)
- Battery Coolant Drain Kit (1065131-00-A)
-
Install the refill tool cap onto the
coolant bottle assembly.
Conseil : Nous recommandons l’utilisation des outils suivants :
- Vacuum Refill Tool (1050448-00-B)
- Battery Coolant Drain Kit (1065131-00-A)
-
Setup the vacuum refill tool.
RemarqueVerify all valves on the refill tool are in the closed position.
-
Install the vacuum refill hose into
the refill cap on the coolant bottle.
RemarquePerform a push-pull-push test to verify the hose is fully engaged.
-
Position the overflow hose into the
empty container.
-
Place the refill hose inside the
filled coolant container.
RemarqueMake sure the hose end is fully submerged into coolant.
-
Connect shop air supply to the coolant
refill tool.
RemarqueIf not already done, verify the refill valve is set to off.
-
Open the air inlet valve to draw a
vacuum. Once the gauge stabilizes, fully close the valve.
RemarqueGauge stabilizes roughly (60-70 cmHg).RemarqueVacuum should not drop after the valves are closed.
-
Slowly open the refill valve to allow
coolant to be drawn into the cooling system.
RemarqueMake sure the hose end of the refill hose is fully submerged during entire process.
-
Once the gauge reads zero, close the
refill valve.
-
Disconnect the shop air supply from
the coolant refill tool.
-
Remove the coolant refill hose from
the coolant container..
-
Remove the coolant overflow hose from
the coolant container.
-
Remove the vacuum refill hose from the
refill cap on the coolant bottle.
-
Remove vacuum refill cap from the
coolant bottle assembly.
-
Remove the coolant refill tool from
the vehicle.
-
Remove both coolant containers from
the underhood storage unit.
- Reconnect 12V/LV power. See Alimentation 12 V/BT (déconnectez et connectez).
-
Fill the coolant to the proper
level.
RemarqueMake sure that the fluid level filled to the Max line.
-
Access the thermal system routines on
the touchscreen: Touch Quick
Controls > Service Mode > Diagnostics > Thermal.
RemarqueAuthorize routines by holding the turn signal stalk full up (right hand turn) while applying brake with the key in the vehicle.
-
Touch Start Coolant Air Purge on
the touchscreen.
RemarqueWait until the coolant pumps stop to run (audible noise). The "Success" display will appear shortly, but the coolant pumps will run for 10 minutes.RemarqueIf you start the next procedure during this time, this routine will fail. Make sure vehicle is not in Drive. Plan is still running despite the stop message.RemarqueCoolant pump speeds can be monitored in garage under PT Thermal tab (idle speed = ~1500 RPM). Test will vary speeds from 3500 RPM to 6500 RPM and actuate valve between SERIES and PARALLEL. Shifting the vehicle into Drive will stop this routine. If the coolant pump speeds hover at 7000 RPM, that means the coolant pumps are air locked. Perform the vacuum fill again.RemarqueContinue to add coolant and purge until the coolant level reaches between the NOM and MAX lines on the coolant bottle.
-
Inspect the coolant level on the
coolant bottle, and top off as necessary.
RemarqueMake sure to use G-48 coolant.
-
Verify the refractometer
(1082768-00-B) is calibrated:
- Put 3 drops of distilled water on the main prism, and then close the daylight plate.
- Hold the refractometer up to a light, and then look into eyepiece. If the lower white field is not at waterline, then calibrate the refractometer.
-
Inspect the reservoir coolant:
- Wipe clean the main prism with a clean, dry cloth.
- Put 3 drops of coolant on the main prism, and then close the daylight plate.
- Hold the refractometer up to a
light, and then look into the eyepiece:
- If the lower white field is at -32 degrees Celsius (-26 degrees Fahrenheit) or colder, then the coolant freezing point temperate is within specifications. Continue to the next step.
- If the lower white field is at -31 degrees Celsius (-25 degrees Fahrenheit) or warmer, then repeat this procedure.
-
Install the coolant bottle cap.
- Install the fresh intake duct. See Conduit - admission d’air frais (retirez et remplacez).
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Tablier sous le capot - arrière (retirez et remplacez).
- Close the hood.
- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
- Exit Service Mode. See Mode Entretien.
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
