Remove

  1. Prepare the vehicle for lifting. See 차량 올리기 - 2 포스트 리프트.

  3. Disconnect 12V/LV power. See 12V/LV 전원(연결 해제 및 연결).
  4. Perform the vehicle HV disablement procedure. See 차량 HV 비활성화 절차.
  5. Remove the LH and RH rear wheels. See 휠 어셈블리(탈거 및 장착).
  6. Remove the LH and RH suspension cover. See 커버 - 후면 서스펜션 - LH(탈거 및 교체).
  7. Remove the mid aero shield panel. See 패널 - 에어로 실드 - 중간(탈거 및 교체).
  8. Remove the rear fascia diffuser. See 디퓨저 - 후면 페시아(탈거 및 교체).
  9. Disconnect the RH side 12V subframe harness connector.
  10. Remove the RH side 12V subframe harness clip from the body.
  11. Disconnect the electrical harness from the LH 12V subframe connector.
  12. Release the clip that attaches the LH subframe electrical harness to the body.
  13. Remove the nut that attaches the rear drive unit ground strap to the body.

  14. Remove the rear stabilizer bar. See 스태빌라이저 바 - 후면(탈거 및 교체).
  15. Release the clips (x2) that attach the coolant hoses to the LH shear plate.
  16. Release the LH side hose clips from the rear battery skid plate.

  17. Release the RH side hose clips from the rear battery skid plate.
  18. Release the clips (x2) that attach the coolant hoses to RH shear plate.
  19. Position a coolant drain container underneath the LH RDU area.
  20. Disconnect the RDU inverter inlet hose from the fluid coupling.

  21. Remove the coolant drain container from underneath the vehicle.
  22. Release the RDU inverter inlet tube from the RDU HV cable harness.

  23. Remove the bolt that attaches the RDU HV cable bracket to the RDU.
  24. Disconnect the RDU HV connector from the RDU.
  25. Perform the RDU diode test.

    Make sure that the RDU HV cable is disconnected from the HV battery.

    Use a multimeter in diode mode, with the positive DMM probe to B- of the inverter and the negative probe to B+.

    Pin #1 on HV cables is B- and Pin #2 is B+.

    MOSFET acceptable diode reading:1.0 - 2.0 V. IGBT acceptable diode reading 0.45 - 2 V (if you get OL or > 2V for a reading you most likely have the probes installed the wrong way around)

  26. Release the RDU logic connector.

  28. Place subframe lifting tool into position underneath the rear subframe.
  29. Raise subframe lifting tool to support the rear subframe

    3x straps. Attach metal hooks at the end of the straps to the rings on the subframe lifting tool and pull straps until they are secure. Lower the vehicle as necessary, Assistance is recommended.
  30. Remove the smaller bolts (x2) that attach the LH shear plate.
  31. Remove the large bolt that attaches the LH shear plate and subframe to the body, and then remove the shear plate.
  32. Install the LH front extension bolt to secure the subframe to the body.

    During lowering and raising the sub frame, the adjusting nut and the other three nuts should be kept at the same height.
  33. Repeat steps 30to 32 on the RH side of the vehicle.
  34. Remove the LH rear bolt that attaches the subframe to the body.
  35. Install the LH rear extension bolt t0 secure the subframe to the body.

  36. Remove the RH rear bolt that attaches the subframe to the body.
  37. Install the RH rear extension bolt to secure the subframe to the body.

  38. Partially lower the subframe and rear drive unit assembly.

    Use caution while lowering subframe to avoid damage to surrounding components. Lower the subframe approximately 13 cm.
  39. Release the clip that attaches the inverter to heat exchanger hose to the inverter and remove the hose from the inverter.
  40. Release the clips (x4) that attach the inverter coolant hose to the RDU.
  41. Release the RDU inverter coolant hose from the heat exchanger, and the remove the hose from the vehicle.

  1. Install the inverter to heat exchanger hose to the heat exchanger.

  2. Install the clips (x4) that attach the inverter to heat exchanger coolant hose to the RDU.

  4. Raise drive unit and subframe into position.
  5. Remove the RH rear extension bolt.

  16. Torque the larger bolts that attach the LH and RH rear shear plate to the body (torque 130 Nm).

  17. Torque the bolt that attaches the RH rear of the subframe to the body (torque 165 Nm).
  18. Torque the bolt that attaches the LH rear of the subframe to the body (torque 165 Nm).
  19. Install the clips that attach the coolant hoses to the RH shear plate.
  20. Install the clips that attach the coolant hoses to the LH shear plate.
  21. Lower the rear subframe lifting tool.

    Make sure that the yellow safety straps are removed from the subframe.
  22. Remove the subframe lifting tool from underneath the vehicle.
  23. Attach the RDU logic connector clip.
  24. Connect the RDU logic connector.

    Make sure that there is no spilled coolant inside the connector.
  25. Connect the RDU HV cable connector to the RDU.
  26. Install the bolt that attaches the RDU HV cable bracket to the RDU (torque 6 Nm).
  27. Remove the hose plugs, and then connect the coolant inlet hose to the rear drive unit.

  28. Install the RDU inverter inlet hose clip onto the HV cable.
  29. Install the RH side hose clips to the rear battery skid plate.
  30. Install the LH side hose clips to the HV battery rear skid plate enclosure.

  41. Remove the coolant bottle cap, and then fill the coolant bottle to the "MAX" line.
  42. Connect 12V power. See 12V/LV 전원(연결 해제 및 연결).
