Inspection Details

  1. Remove the rear aero shield. SeePanneau – bouclier aérodynamique – arrière (retrait et remplacement) .
  2. Remove the bolt and tabs (x2) that attach the LH rear suspension cover, and then remove the cover.
  3. Remove the bolt and tabs (x2) that attach the RH rear suspension cover, and then remove the cover.
  4. Inspect the LH rear stabilizer bar ball joints.

    Visually Inspect the ball joint for cracks, grease leakage, unseated boot, and/or boot puncture.
  5. Inspect the RH rear stabilizer ball joints.

  6. Inspect the LH rear toe link to subframe bushing.

  7. Inspect the LH rear toe link to knuckle bushing.

  20. Install the tabs (x2) and bolt that attach the RH rear suspension cover.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)

  22. Install the rear aero shield. See Panneau – bouclier aérodynamique – arrière (retrait et remplacement) .
  23. Partially lower the vehicle.
  24. Inspect the suspension link play on the RH and LH rear wheels.

    If excessive play is detected on the wheel, proceed to full upper knuckle play inspection (CC: 31030130, 31031812, 31031822).
