Function check LH front door (exterior)

Inspect and note functionality for the door handle operation and full range of motion of the door, From outside look for interference with brightwork and door to body, Note noises such as creaks, groans, clicks, and pauses or incomplete actions
Function check all windows from the master switch

Document any abnormal operation/noises
Function check LH rear door (exterior)

Release underhood storage unit

Remove front nuts securing underhood storage unit to body

Disconnect emergency hood release and front light harness

Remove underhood storage unit

Perform inspection of under hood area

Remarque
Perform inspection of vehicle under hood area, Check for signs of abnormal damage, wear, heavy rust, wiring damage, or impact damage, Pay attention to safety related component and note any items of significance
Inspect brake fluid level
Inspect coolant level and top off as necessary

Ensure that fluid level is at Max line
Top off windshield washer fluid
Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks

Remarque
Set vehicle to comfortable working height, Ensure an audible click of locks on both sides is heard before lowering, Vehicle may tilt to the side if both locks are not engaged
Remove clips securing front aero shield to vehicle

Remove clips securing LH shear plate to wheel fairing

Remove rear aero shield from vehicle
Perform inspection of vehicle underside components front and rear

Remarque
Perform inspection of vehicle underside front and rear, Check for signs of abnormal damage, wear, heavy rust, wiring damage, or impact damage, Pay attention to safety related component and note any items of significance
Inspect underside of vehicle for fluid leaks
Perform inspection of steering components

Remarque
Check steering gear joints, fasteners, and electrical connections, Verify components are not bent or damaged
Perform inspection of front suspension components

Remarque
Check conditions of ball joints and bushings, etc, Inspect for any loose fasteners, Carefully apply pressure with a pry bar as needed
Perform inspection of rear suspension components

Remarque
Check conditions of ball joints and bushings, etc, Inspect for any loose fasteners, Carefully apply pressure with a pry bar as needed
Inspect underside of battery for damage

Remarque
Identify location of damage using grid shown in image, Any damage greater than 1/8 in (3 mm) deep must be reported to Tesla Service Engineering
Check tire pressures

Inspect condition of LH front tire

Tire Condition: No damage to sidewall (cuts, tears, bulges), No foreign objects in tread area, No uneven wear or sidewall cracking
Measure and record LH front tread depth

Remarque
Record at least 3 measurements: Inner, Middle, Outer, Add line to replace if under 5/32 inch tread remaining
Perform visual inspection of LH front brake pads

Remarque
Perform visual inspection, Recommend replacement if 2mm or less, Check both inboard and outboard pads
Inspect LH front brake rotor condition

Remarque
Check for excessive rust or wear
Inspect condition of LH rear tire

Remarque
Tire Condition: No damage to sidewall (cuts, tears, bulges), No foreign objects in tread area, No uneven wear or sidewall cracking

Install clips securing RH shear plate to wheel fairing

Lower vehicle fully

Remarque
Raise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered
Remove vehicle from lift

Remarque
Lower rack arms fully and remove them from under vehicle, Remove air suspension from "Jack Mode" via Controls > Service > '' JACK MODE''
Position underhood storage unit into vehicle

1x grommet,push wiring harness grommet back through underhood storage unit
Connect emergency hood release and front light harness

Install front nuts securing underhood storage unit to body

Remarque
2x nuts, 8mm, 8 Nm, Seat seal around carpet
Install rear bolts securing underhood storage unit to body

Remarque
2x bolts, 13mm, 4 Nm, Seat seal around carpet
Install front underhood apron

Remarque
2x push clips, 7x clips
Install RH underhood apron

Remarque
9x clips
Install LH underhood apron

Remarque

Install rear underhood apron

Close hood

Press firmly in green highlighted areas (see image), Damage may result from pressure elsewhere on hood
Perform a road test using a series of ABS-active stops and ensure proper brake pedal feel and performance

Remarque
The vehicle must stop completely within 25 feet (7.6 meters) at 20 mph (32 kph), Confirm that no excessive vibration or noise is present
Inspect vehicles alignment

Remarque
Confirm steering wheel is straight and no vibrations or noises are felt or heard from the suspension, On a flat road, at 35 mph (56 kph), the vehicle does not pull in either direction
