Fully open sliding glass
RemarqueNeed to press "Open" twice to fully open

Remove bolts securing sliding glass to vehicle
Remarque4x bolts, T25, 5 Nm, Discard patch bolts

Remove sliding glass from vehicle

Gently lift up the rear section of the left side roof applique to release the clips and remove the left roof applique
Remarque6x clips, Place applique in a safe area to avoid damage

Add a mark to the underside of the left applique to indicate that it has been removed
RemarqueThe 2nd generation side applique can only be removed and reinstalled 10 times before it must be replaced due to damage to the clips, If there are already 9 or more marks on the underside of the applique, replace it

Move panoramic sliding glass front links fully forward
RemarquePull links forward with hooked pick

Moving panoramic slide glass rear links fully forward through MCU

Remove LH IP side cover

Remove LH middle A-pillar trim

Remarque4x clips, Number of clips securing trim may vary depending on vehicle production date, Replace any damaged or missing clips prior to re-installing sill trim

Remove LH lower IP trim
Remarque1x screw, T20, 2 Nm, 9x clips

Remove LH floor mat
Remarque4x velcro pads

Release LH front console side panel clips
Remarque7x clips

Remove LH side console closeout panel
Remarque6x clips, Pull side panel back and slide closeout panel down behind side panel

Remove LH footwell cover
Remarque2x screws, T20, 2 Nm, 1x connector

Open hood

Move LH front seat backward

Power off vehicle via UI

Remove rear underhood apron

Release primary and secondary drain tubes from cabin intake duct assembly

Release cabin intake duct assembly from cowl panel

Remove cabin intake duct assembly
Remarque2x clips, one on each side

Remove HEPA filter outlet duct
RemarqueLift up, Pull towards front of vehicle, Then rotate clockwise

Disconnect 12V negative terminal and First Responder Loop
Remarque1x nut, 10mm, 5 Nm, 1x connector, Wait at least 2 minutes before disconnecting modules or HV components

Disconnect premium amplifier if equipped
Remarque1x connector, Applies only to vehicle equipped with premium audio

Remove OBD II connector from tuner bracket
Remarque2x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm

Disconnect tuner and move harness for clearance
Remarque3x connectors, 1x edge clip

Remove bolts securing tuner bracket to IP
Remarque3x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm, 2 are accessible from bottom, 1 is accessible from front

Remove amp/tuner bracket assembly out through bottom of IP carrier
Remarque1x tab, There's a tab on bracket that requires sliding assembly forward slightly to release

Remove bolts securing LH roof motor
Remarque3x patch bolts, T25, 5 Nm, Discard after removal

Separate LH sunroof motor from motor block
RemarqueUse plastic trim tool as needed

Remove LH stop screw
Remarque1x screw, T30, 6.5 Nm, 1x stop bracket

Remove LH rear link
RemarquePull link rearward, You may need to use a bigger hook and pull more aggressively

Remove LH panoramic roof drive cable
RemarqueCable may get stuck where stop screw was installed, Apply good amount of force to remove
-
Install LH panoramic roof drive cable
RemarqueLeave enough slack to install link

Install LH rear link
RemarqueConnect cable to link

Install LH stop screw
Remarque1x screw, T30, 6.5 Nm

Position LH sunroof motor onto motor block
-
Install bolts securing LH roof motor
Remarque3x patch bolts, T25, 5 Nm, Install new patch bolts

Install amp/tuner bracket assembly back into IP
RemarqueMake sure tab is above IP otherwise there will be a large gap near bulkhead
-
Install bolts securing tuner bracket
Remarque3x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm
-
Reconnect tuner connectors and secure edge clip
Remarque2x connectors, 1x edge clip

Install OBD II male side to bracket
Remarque2x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm
-
Connect premium amplifier if equipped
Remarque1x connector, Fully seat connector, then engage locking tab

Connect First Responder Loop and 12V negative terminal
Remarque1x connector, 1x nut, 10mm, 5 Nm, Connect First Responder Loop first

Install HEPA filter outlet duct
-
Install cabin intake duct assembly
Remarque2x tabs, One on each side

Install cabin intake duct assembly to cowl panel

Install primary and secondary drain tubes to cabin intake duct assembly
Remarque2x hoses

Install LH underhood apron

Install RH underhood apron

Install rear underhood apron

Close hood
RemarquePress firmly in green highlighted areas (see image), Damage may result from pressure elsewhere on hood

Install LH roof applique
Remarque6x clips, Inspect and ensure appropriate gap and flush fitment of side appliques

Install LH footwell cover
Remarque2x screws, T20, 2 Nm, 1x connector

Install LH console closeout extension

Secure LH front console side panel clips

Install LH lower A-pillar trim
Remarque4x clips, Number of clips securing A-pillar sill trim may vary depending on vehicle production date, Replace any damaged or missing clips prior to re-installing sill trim

Install LH middle A-pillar trim

Install LH lower IP trim

Install LH floor mat

Move panoramic rear links into original position

Move panoramic front links into original position

Place sliding glass into position on vehicle

Install bolts securing sliding glass to vehicle
Remarque4x bolts, T25, 5 Nm, Install new patch bolts

Connect laptop to vehicle with a tethered Ethernet connection via Toolbox 3
Remarque1x connector, 2x clips, Newer models will access connector below MCU with cubby removed, Older models will access port at LH side of IP with end cap removedOpen Toolbox 3 website and establish connection to vehicle: https://toolbox.teslamotors.com, Select connection status icon at top right corner and select Connect Locally (icon will turn green when vehicle is connected), Local connection will enable service mode plus on display

Select ‘Actions’ tab and search for ‘Calibrate Sunroof’

Select ‘Calibrate sunroof’, click ‘Run’, and allow routine to complete
RemarqueRoof will fully close, then fully open

Disconnect Toolbox from vehicle and install cubby under MCU
Remarque1x connector, 2x clips, Ensure diagnostic cables are tucked into appropriate position then engage cubby

Operate sliding glass and verify that glass does not shudder while opening or closing
-
Raise all four windows
-
Close all four doors
