1. Open LH front door
   Note

   Push LH B-pillar door trigger to release

   

   

2. Lower LH front window

   

3. Set air suspension ride height to “High”
   Note

   Via UI > Controls > Ride Height > High

   

4. Open powered front trunk
   Note

   Via exterior switch or UI

6. Power off vehicle from center display
   Note

   Verify EPBs are engaged, Select charge port icon to ensure drive state is disengaged then power down vehicle via Controls > Safety > Power Off

   

7. Remove rear underhood apron
   Note

   9x clips

   

   

8. Disconnect first responder loop and MV battery connector
   Note

   2x connectors, Release locking tab then disconnect FRL connector, Slide eCPA to left then lift lever to release MV battery connector, Early production trucks may have black FRL connector, Release eCPA by pushing down to unlock and slide red locking tab, Wait 2 minutes for electrical circuits to discharge before disconnecting modules

   

   

   

9. Remove LH front fender flare cover
   Note

   11x clips, 3x datums, 1x connector, Release all clips then repeater connector before removal, Camera harness is very short, Ensure excess force is not exerted on harness

   

   

   

   

   

10. Remove frunk assembly
    Note

    6x bolts, 10mm, 12 Nm, 2x bolt caps, 2x bumpstops, 1x connector, Remove bolt covers from frunk floor, Remove washer fluid cap by gently prying upwards, Rotate bumpstops counter clockwise to release, the 25mm socket from PT Sensor kit can be used, Avoid straining emergency frunk release connector

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

11. Remove MV Battery
    Note

    2x bolts, 10mm, 8 Nm, Slide forward to remove

    

12. Release remote brake fluid reservoir
    Note

    1x bolt, 10mm, 8 Nm, 1x datum, Lift upwards to release datum, Position aside, Avoid tipping over

    

    

13. Release RH frunk harness from windshield washer reservoir
    Note

    2x clips, 2x connectors

    

14. Remove windshield washer reservoir
    Note

    1x nut, 10mm, 7 Nm, 2x bolts, 10mm, 7Nm, 2x hose connections, 2x connectors, 2x hose clips Pinch hose connector to release, Remove reservoir from vehicle

    

15. Release RH frunk harness from Megabeam
    Note

    1x connector, 1x coaxial connector, 2x clips, Release locking tab

    

16. Release LH frunk harness from Megabeam
    Note

    4x clips, 1x stud, E5, 6 Nm

    

    

17. Release AC suction/discharge line bracket from Megabeam
    Note

    1x bolt, 10mm, 7 Nm

    

18. Remove bolts securing supermanifold
    Note

    2x bolts, 15mm, 33 Nm, Break free then remove by hand to avoid tool jamming, Support manifold from underneath, Lower Supermanifold until resting on HVAC case

    

    

19. Remove coolant bottle cap

    

20. Release compressor from Megabeam
    Note

    3x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, Recommend assistance, Support the AC compressor while removing the fasteners, Carefully remove the AC compressor towards the front of the vehicle and under the Megabeam, Place fender cover on fan housing and gently place AC compressor assembly down

    

    

21. Release bolts securing megabeam
    Note

    4x bolts, 21mm, 165 Nm, 4x bolts, EP14, 18 Nm, Break free by hand before using power tools, Some trucks may not be equipped with two rearmost EP14 bolts

    

    

    

    

22. Remove Megabeam from vehicle
    Note

    Ensure harness is not caught or pinched during removal

    

    

23. Release LH front wheel liner from HV battery chinstrap
    Note

    1x push clip, 2x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm

    

24. Release LH front wheel liner push nuts
    Note

    6x push nuts, Replace if damaged

    

25. Remove LH front wheel liner
    Note

    Manipulate as required to clear fender flare and tire, Shown with wheel removed for clarity

    

    

    

    

26. Apply harness tape onto LH jumper coax overlay cable before installation
    Note

    Use Anti-abrasion tape and wrap the entire length of the coax cable to protect the cable for damage when it is in the vehicle

    

    

    

27. Position LH jumper coax overlay cable into place, Place through LH wheel liner
    Note

    Pull till you have roughly 7 inches of cable towards the interior of the vehicle

    

    

28. Pull LH jumper coax overlay cable through LH frunk harness
    Note

    Pull harness towards male connector side

    

    

    

    

    

    

29. Position LH jumper coax overlay cable onto LH frunk main harness, Secure cable onto harness using zip ties
    Note

    14x zip-ties, Trim off excess material after harness has been secured

    

    

    

    

30. Cut off the vehicle side repeater coax terminal and tape to vehicle harness
    Note

    Cut the coax connector only

    

31. Install LH front wheel liner
    Note

    Manipulate as required to clear fender flare and tire

    

    

    

    

32. Install LH front wheel liner push nuts
    Note

    6x push nuts, Install new push nuts

    

33. Secure LH front wheel liner to HV battery chinstrap
    Note

    1x push clip, 2x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm

    

34. Install LH front fender flare cover
    Note

    11x clips, 3x datums, 1x connector, Make camera connection before flare installation, Ensure excess force is not exerted on camera harness, Replace any missing or damaged clips

    

    

    

    

    

35. Install Megabeam onto vehicle
    Note

    Ensure harness is on inboard side of cowl mounting tabs, Ensure harness is not caught or pinched during install

    

    

    

36. Install bolts securing Megabeam
    Note

    4x bolts, 21mm, 165 Nm, 4x bolts, EP14, 18 Nm, Start by hand before using power tools

    

    

    

    

37. Install AC compressor to Megabeam
    Note

    3x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, Recommend assistance, Support the AC compressor while installing the fasteners, Start bolts by hand

    

    

38. Secure remote brake fluid reservoir
    Note

    1x bolt, 10mm, 8 Nm, 1x datum, Align datum and slide downwards to engage

    

    

39. Install coolant bottle cap

    

40. Install bolts securing supermanifold
    Note

    2x bolts, 15mm, 33 Nm, Start by hand

    

    

41. Secure AC suction/discharge line bracket to Megabeam
    Note

    1x bolt, 10mm, 7 Nm

    

42. Secure LH frunk harness to Megabeam
    Note

    4x clips, 1x stud, E5, 6 Nm

    

    

43. Secure RH frunk harness to Megabeam
    Note

    1x connector, 1x coaxial connector, 2x clips, Engage locking tab

    

44. Install windshield washer reservoir
    Note

    1x nut, 10mm, 7 Nm, 2x bolts, 10mm, 7Nm, 2x hose connections, 2x connectors, 2x harness clips

    

45. Secure RH frunk harness to windshield washer reservoir
    Note

    2x clips, 2x connectors

    

46. Install MV Battery
    Note

    2x bolts, 10mm, 8 Nm, Slide rearwards into position

    

47. Connect first responder loop and MV battery connector
    Note

    2x connectors, Connect FRL connector then secure locking tab, Position lever to secure MV battery connector then slide eCPA to right, Early production trucks may have black FRL connector, If power cycling vehicle then ensure at least 60 seconds has passed since powering down

    

    

    

48. Install frunk assembly
    Note

    6x bolts, 10mm, 12 Nm, 2x bolt caps, 2x bumpstops, 1x connector, Install bolt covers to frunk floor, Install washer fluid cap, Install bumpstops by aligning tabs then turning clockwise, Ensure emergency frunk release functions

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

49. Close powered front trunk
    Note

    Via exterior switch or UI

    

50. Raise LH front window

    

51. Unlock vehicle gateway
    Note

    After vehicle has been put into "Service Mode", place keycard on center console to turn on drive rails, hold down the brake pedal, while keep pressing right hand signal button simultaneously for at least 10 seconds, "GTW UNLOCKING" should pop up on the UI right next to the VIN during these 10 seconds, once gateway is unlocked "GTW UNLOCKED 5400" will be displayed on the UI next to the VIN, the gateway will remain unlocked for 90 minutes, follow steps on Toolbox article #5582900 for any additional information

    

    

    

52. Clear camera calibration via Service UI
    Note

    Via UI > Driver Assist > Cameras > Clear Camera Calibration > Camera Input > ForwardFacing > Run

    

    

    

53. Connect to vehicle using Toolbox 3
    Note

    OBD-II connection is integrated into drivers lower IP cover, Open Toolbox 3 website and establish connection to vehicle, https://toolbox.teslamotors.com, Select connection status icon at top right corner then select connect locally, Icon will turn green when connected, Successful connection will automatically unlock vehicle gateway and place UI in Service Mode Plus

    

    

    

54. Exécutez la routine ODIN PROC_DAS_X_ENTER-CALIBRATION-MODEvia Toolbox:(link)
55. Select PING-HTTP_DAS_L_REPEATER-CAMERA-SCRIPT, and Run Routine

    Choose the routine that has the 'Script' at the end of the name, Change timeout to 100, Click run

    

    

    

    

    

56. Disconnect Toolbox 3 from vehicle and remove laptop
