Unlock vehicle gateway
RemarqueAfter vehicle has been put into "Service Mode", place keycard on center console to turn on drive rails, hold down the brake pedal, while keep pressing right hand signal button simultaneously for at least 10 seconds, "GTW UNLOCKING" should pop up on the UI right next to the VIN during these 10 seconds, once gateway is unlocked "GTW UNLOCKED 5400" will be displayed on the UI next to the VIN, the gateway will remain unlocked for 90 minutes, follow steps on Toolbox article #5582900 for any additional information

Access thermal system routines using the UI

Open powered front trunk

Remove rear underhood apron
Remarque9x clips

Disconnect first responder loop and MV battery connector
Remarque2x connectors, Release locking tab then disconnect FRL connector, Slide eCPA to left then lift lever to release MV battery connector, Early production trucks may have black FRL connector, Release eCPA by pushing down to unlock and slide red locking tab, Wait 2 minutes for electrical circuits to discharge before disconnecting modules

Remove RH rear wheel cap
Remarque1x cap, 8x clips, Use both hands to firmly pull wheel cap to release clips, Cap may remove with or without mounting ring attached

Remove RH rear wheel cap mounting ring
Remarque7x clips, Pull away from wheel to release, If mounting ring remains attached to cap skip this step

Loosen RH rear wheel nuts
Remarque6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm

Raise vehicle partially and lower onto locks
RemarqueSet vehicle to comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of the locks on both sides before lowering, otherwise vehicle may tilt to the side

Remove RH rear wheel
Remarque6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm

Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks
RemarqueSet vehicle to comfortable working height, Ensure an audible click of locks on both sides is heard before lowering, Vehicle may tilt to the side if both locks are not engaged

Remove rear skid plate
Remarque6x clips, 3x bolts, 15mm, 42 Nm, 5x bolts, 13mm, 28 Nm, 2x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm

Lower vehicle until tires are touching the ground
RemarqueRaise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered

Position coolant catcher below rear drive unit

Release acoustic cover surrounding RH motor mount
Remarque5x clips, if acoustic cover is present on mount, remove and discard

Remove RDU supply hose from rear inverter
Remarque1x spring clip, Plug both ends after disconnecting

Position jack to support rear drive unit

Loosen RH motor mount bolt
Remarque1x bolt, E18, 85 Nm, 1x NVH mass, Revision D subframe will not have NVH mass,16 mm hex bolts cannot be used on Revision D subframe, E18 bolts can be used on all subframes, If mass present then mass must be reinstalled,

Remove bolts securing RH motor mount assembly
Remarque3x bolts, EP14, 35 Nm + 55 degrees

Remove RH motor mount bolt
Remarque1x bolt, E18, 85 Nm, 1x NVH mass, Revision D subframe will not have NVH mass, 16 mm hex bolts cannot be used on Revision D subframe, E18 bolts can be used on all subframes, If mass present then mass must be reinstalled

Remove RH rear motor mount assembly from subframe
RemarqueAcoustic cover sits between mount and subframe,If inverter mount is 1923000-xx-B or older, then replace with 1923000-xx-C or newer

Position RH side motor mount
RemarqueManeuver between drive unit and subframe, if acoustic cover is present on mount, remove and discard,If inverter mount is 1923000-xx-B or older, then replace with 1923000-xx-C or newer

Hand tighten bolts securing RH rear motor mount to inverter and subframe
Remarque4x bolts, E14, 35 Nm + 55 degrees, 1x bolt, E18, 85 Nm, 1x NVH mass, Revision D subframe will not have NVH mass, If mass present then mass must be reinstalled, Torque at later step

Torque bolts securing RH motor mount to rear drive unit
Remarque4x bolts, E14, 35 Nm + 55 degrees, Follow torque sequence

Torque RH rear motor mount to subframe
Remarque1x bolt, E18, 85 Nm, 1x NVH mass, Revision D subframe will not have NVH mass,16 mm hex bolts cannot be used on Revision D subframe, E18 bolts can be used on all subframes, If mass present then mass must be reinstalled,

Remove jack stand from supporting rear drive unit assembly

Install rear inverter coolant supply hose to inverter
Remarque1x spring clip, Remove plugs from both ends, Perform push-pull test

Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks
RemarqueSet vehicle to comfortable working height, Ensure an audible click of locks on both sides is heard before lowering, Vehicle may tilt to the side if both locks are not engaged

Install rear skid plate
Remarque6x clips, 3x bolts, 15mm, 42 Nm, 5x bolts, 13mm, 28 Nm, 2x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm, Apply Loctite 222 to mid aero shield bolts and install fasteners

Install RH rear wheel
Remarque6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm

Lower vehicle until tires are touching the ground
RemarqueRaise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered

Connect first responder loop and MV battery connector
Remarque2x connectors, Connect FRL connector then secure locking tab, Position lever to secure MV battery connector then slide eCPA to right, Early production trucks may have black FRL connector, If power cycling vehicle then ensure at least 60 seconds has passed since powering down

Remove coolant bottle cap

Inspect coolant level and top off as necessary
RemarqueEnsure that the fluid level is at the Max line, Top off fluid as required

Select "Start Coolant Air Purge" using the UI
RemarqueTouch time only, wait until coolant pumps stop running (audible noise), Routine Passed will appear, but pumps will run for 10 minutes, If you start next another routine during this time it will fail, Make sure vehicle is not in "Drive", Routine is still running despite the completed message, Speeds can be monitored in garage under PT Thermal tab, Idle speed = ~1500 RPM, Test will vary speeds from 3500-6500 RPM and actuate valves between SERIES and PARALLEL, Putting vehicle into "Drive" will stop this routine, If speeds hover at 7000 RPM, this indicates the pumps are air locked, perform a vacuum fill, Continue to add coolant and purge until the coolant level reaches between the NOM and MAX Lines on the bottle

Inspect coolant level and top off as necessary
RemarqueEnsure that the fluid level is at the Max line, Top off fluid as required

Install coolant bottle cap

Perform Thermal Performance through the UI

Torque RH rear wheel nuts
Remarque6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm, Use star pattern

Separate mounting ring from wheel cap
Remarque7x clips, Gently pry clips apart with trim tool, If mounting ring remained attached to wheel skip this step

Install mounting ring to RH rear wheel
Remarque7x clips, Ensure ring is fully seated

Install RH rear wheel cap
Remarque1x cap, 8x clips, Partially secure wheel cap to wheel, While partially installed wheel cover can be rotated to align with tire design, When aligned press inward from center of cap then secure all clips to mounting ring

Install bed floor assembly
Remarque10x short bolts, 15mm, 56 Nm, 2x long bolts, 15mm, 46Nm, Recommend assistance

Install fastener covers onto bed floor assembly
