1. Open LH front door
   Remarque

   Push LH B-pillar door trigger to release
2. Lower all 4 windows
3. Open powered front trunk
   Remarque

   Via exterior switch or UI
4. Exécutez la routine ODIN PROC_ICE_X_ENTER-SERVICE-MODEvia Toolbox: (link)
5. Raise LH front window
6. Manually latch LH front door

   

7. Remove LH front lower beltline assembly
   Remarque

   18x clips, 2x connectors, Do not pull trim away forcefully, Pull trim back partially to release connectors, Replace clips if damaged or broken

   

   

8. Remove bolts securing LH front door trim
   Remarque

   3x bolts, 8mm, 7 Nm

   

9. Release LH front door trim
   Remarque

   14x clips, 2x harness guides, 1x connector, 1x manual release cable, Release beltline trim harness from harness guides, Release manual release cable lock then rotate to release cable end

   

   

   

   

10. Remove LH front inner waist belt seal
    Remarque

    6x rubber datums

    

    

11. Remove LH front outer waist belt seal
    Remarque

    Pull inwards

    

12. Remove LH front door grommets
    Remarque

    4x grommets

    

13. Remove LH front door glass
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 10mm, 4 Nm, The clamps do not hold the whole base of the regulator, Use assistance if needed

    

    

14. Power down vehicle via UI
    Remarque

    Verify EPBs are engaged, Select charge port icon to ensure drive state is disengaged then power down vehicle via Controls > Safety > Power Off
15. Remove rear underhood apron
    Remarque

    9x clips

    

    

16. Disconnect FRL connector then disconnect MV battery connector
    Remarque

    2x connectors, Release locking tab then disconnect FRL connector, Slide eCPA to left then lift lever to release MV battery connector, Early production trucks may have black FRL connector, Release eCPA by pushing down to unlock and slide red locking tab, Wait 2 minutes for electrical circuits to discharge before disconnecting modules

    

    

    

17. Release LH front door harnesses from close out panel
    Remarque

    4x clips, 5x connectors

    

18. Remove LH front door closeout panel
    Remarque

    11x bolts, 8mm, 4 Nm, 2x bolts 10mm, 12 Nm, 1x harness clip, 2x locking datums, Gently pry closeout panel to release locking datums, Pull bottom portion outwards and lower assembly to allow clearance for regulator rails

    

    

    

    

19. Remove LH front door glass run channel
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 10mm, 8 Nm

    

    

    

20. Remove LH front door check strap and check strap close out
    Remarque

    1x Bolt, 13mm, 35 +/- 2 Nm, 2x nuts, 10mm, 8.5Nm, Rotate check strap 90 degrees to remove, Some vehicles have T40 fastener securing check strap to body, Fastener must be replaced with 1623708-00-A

    

    

    

    

21. Partially remove LH front door harness
    Remarque

    1x connectors, 1x grommet, 1x close out panel, 5x fir tree clips, Do not disconnect door harness to A-pillar connection, Position harness to the side

    

    

    

22. Disconnect LH front door latch harness connector
    Remarque

    1x connector, Release locking tab

    

23. Disconnect LH front closure harness from door presenter
    Remarque

    1x connector

    

24. Remove LH front closure device harness
    Remarque

    3x clips 1x grommet

    

    

    

25. Remove LH front door presenter
    Remarque

    2x bolts, T30, 13 Nm,

    

    

26. Remove LH front door latch
    Remarque

    1x grommet, 1x connector, 3x bolts, T30, 13 Nm, Release locking tab

    

    

    

    

27. Remove LH front door mirror assembly
    Remarque

    3x bolts, T40, 18 Nm, Move belt seal as required for access, Lift mirror assembly straight up to remove, Ensure harness is not caught inside door, Discard bolts after removal

    

    

    

    

28. Remove LH front door overslam bumper
    Remarque

    2x tabs

    

    

29. Remove LH front door secondary seal
    Remarque

    26x clips,

    

    

    

30. Remove LH front door
    Remarque

    2x nuts, 15mm, 38 Nm, Use assistance or rack holder to hold door

    

    

    

31. Install LH front door
    Remarque

    Align hinge with door stud

    

32. Install LH front door secondary seal
    Remarque

    26x clips, Installation begins with the orange clip on the outer edge of the door. There is a slit for the latch screws

    

    

    

    

33. Install LH rear door overslam bumper
    Remarque

    2x tabs

    

    

34. Install LH front door mirror assembly
    Remarque

    3x bolts, T40, 18 Nm, Lower mirror assembly straight down, Ensure harness is accessible at door plug before securing bolts, Move belt seal as required for access, Install new bolts

    

    

    

    

35. Install LH front door latch
    Remarque

    1x grommet, 1x connector, 3x bolts, T30, 13 Nm, Engage locking tab

    

    

    

    

36. Install LH front door presenter
    Remarque

    2x bolts, T30, 13 Nm

    

    

37. Install LH front closure device harness
    Remarque

    3x clips, 1x grommet

    

    

    

38. Connect LH front closure harness onto door presenter
    Remarque

    1x connector

    

39. Connect LH front door latch harness connector
    Remarque

    1x connector, Secure locking tab

    

40. Partially install LH front door harness
    Remarque

    1x close out panel, 1x grommet, 4x clips, 1 connector, Use tab on rubber grommet to correctly seat the harness.

    

    

    

    

41. Install LH front door check strap and check strap close out
    Remarque

    2x nuts, 10mm, 8.5Nm, 1x Bolt, 13mm, 35 +/- 2 Nm, Rotate check strap 90 degrees to install, Slide closeout over check strap, Install fasteners then secure closeout, Some vehicles have T40 fastener securing check strap to body, Fastener must be replaced with 1623708-00-A

    

    

    

    

42. Install LH front door glass run channel
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 10mm, 8 Nm

    

    

    

43. Install LH front door closeout panel
    Remarque

    11x bolts, 8mm, 4 Nm, 2x bolts, 10mm, 12 Nm

    

    

    

44. Secure LH front door harness onto close out panel
    Remarque

    4x clips, 5x connectors

    

45. Install LH front door glass
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 10mm, 13 Nm, Hand tight, Torque at a later step, Watch for slippage of glass off mount

    

    

46. Install LH front outer waist belt seal
    Remarque

    Press firmly,

    

47. Install LH front inner waist belt seal
    Remarque

    6x rubber datums on either side

    

    

48. Connect FRL connector then connect MV battery connector
    Remarque

    2x connectors, Connect FRL connector then secure locking tab, Position lever to secure MV battery connector then slide eCPA to right, Early production trucks may have black FRL connector, If power cycling vehicle then ensure at least 60 seconds has passed since powering down

    

    

    

49. Install rear underhood apron
    Remarque

    9x clips, Adjust windshield seal as required

    

    

50. Close powered front trunk
    Remarque

    Via exterior switch or UI
51. Manually release the door latch
    Remarque

    Pull manual release cable away from vehicle to unlatch

    

52. Close LH front door
53. Check and adjust gap and flushness
    Remarque

    Connect external window switch to help with adjustment, Reference CVIS for specification https://quality.prd2.dt.teslamotors.com/

    

    

54. Open LH front door
    Remarque

    Push LH B-pillar door trigger to release
55. Torque fasteners for window regulator
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 10mm, 13Nm

    

56. Install LH front door grommets
    Remarque

    4x grommets

    

57. Replace LH front door trim clips
    Remarque

    12x clips, Remove and discard clips

    

    

58. Install LH front door trim
    Remarque

    14x clips, 1x connector, 1x manual release cable, Replace any missing or damaged clips

    

    

    

59. Install bolts securing LH front door trim
    Remarque

    3x bolts, 8mm, 7 Nm

    

60. Replace LH front lower beltline assembly clips
    Remarque

    6x clips, Remove and discard clips

    

    

61. Install LH front lower beltline assembly
    Remarque

    18x clips, 2x connectors, Replace any missing or damaged clips

    

    

62. Calibrate window
    Remarque

    Press and hold down selected window for 15 seconds, raise window and hold for 15 seconds, Test window by hard pressing to see if auto roll function works
63. Raise all 4 windows
64. Close LH front door
65. Check LF door gap and flushness
    Remarque

    Verify door alignment. Readjust if needed. Reference current specifications in CVIS.
