1. Ouvrez la porte avant gauche et abaissez la glace avant gauche.
2. Soulevez et soutenez le véhicule. Voir Soulever le véhicule - pont élévateur à 2 poteaux,
3. Mettez le véhicule en mode Entretien. Voir Mode Entretien,
4. Déverrouillez la passerelle du véhicule. Voir Passerelle (déverrouiller),
5. Access thermal system routines using the UI
   Remarque

   Select quick controls > Service mode > Diagnostics > Thermal, Authorize routines by holding right turn signal, depressing brake pedal for 10 seconds with key on phone dock
6. Select "Coolant Fill/Drain" through Service UI
   Remarque

   Select 'Coolant System' to enter coolant circuit screen, Select 'Coolant Fill/Drain' and 'PROC_VCFRONT_X_START-THERMAL-FILL-DRAIN-COOLANT' window will appear, Select 'Run', Verify indicator displays green for Coolant readiness, Thermal Fill Drain routine has a 50 minute time limit
7. Ouvrez le coffre avant électrique.
8. Retirez le tablier arrière situé sous le capot. Voir Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install),
9. Débranchez l’alimentation MT. Voir Disconnect MV Power,
10. Remove LH front wheel cap
    Remarque

    1x cap, 8x clips, Use both hands to firmly pull wheel cap to release clips, Cap may remove with or without mounting ring attached

    

    

    

    

11. Loosen LH front wheel nuts
    Remarque

    6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm

    

12. Remove RH front wheel cap
    Remarque

    1x cap, 8x clips, Use both hands to firmly pull wheel cap to release clips, Cap may remove with or without mounting ring attached

    

    

    

    

13. Loosen RH front wheel nuts
    Remarque

    6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm

    

14. Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks
    Remarque

    Set vehicle to comfortable working height, Ensure an audible click of locks on both sides is heard before lowering, Vehicle may tilt to the side if both locks are not engaged

    

    

15. Remove lower valence fasteners
    Remarque

    2x clips, 2x covers, 6x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm, Release covers to expose bolts

    

    

    

    

    

16. Remove aero shield fasteners
    Remarque

    17x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm, Open bolt lids

    

    

    

    

17. Disconnect CFM connectors
    Remarque

    2x connectors, 4x clips

    

    

18. Place coolant catcher below RH front of vehicle

    

19. Lower vehicle until tires are touching the ground
    Remarque

    Raise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered

    

    

20. Remove frunk assembly
    Remarque

    6x bolts, 10mm, 12 Nm, 2x bolt caps, 2x bumpstops, 1x connector, Remove bolt covers from frunk floor, Remove washer fluid cap by gently prying upwards, Rotate bumpstops counter clockwise to release, the 25mm socket from PT Sensor kit can be used, Avoid straining emergency frunk release connector

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

21. Remove front center applique
    Remarque

    8x tabs, 1x connector, Release upper 4 tabs by pushing down then gently pull away, Release frunk release trigger connector

    

    

22. Remove front fascia fasteners
    Remarque

    2x covers, 6x bolts, 10mm, 4 Nm, Remove tow hook covers to expose bolts

    

    

    

23. Release clips securing front portion of the LH front wheel house liner
    Remarque

    4x clips

    

24. Remove front fascia LH side fastener
    Remarque

    1x bolt, 10mm, 6 Nm, Pull wheel liner back for access

    

25. Release clips securing front portion of the RH front wheel house liner
    Remarque

    4x clips

    

26. Remove front fascia RH side fastener and connectors
    Remarque

    1x bolt, 10mm, 6 Nm, 1x clip, 3x connectors, Pull wheel liner back for access, Pull red locking tab to release, Do not push down on locking tab

    

    

27. Remove front lower fascia assembly
    Remarque

    Place on suitable protective surface

    

    

28. Remove lower CFM fasteners
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm

    

    

    

    

29. Remove fore crossmember
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 18mm, 90 Nm, Push up on CFM, Use hammer if needed, Recommend assistance

    

    

    

30. Disconnect radiator to manifold hose from radiator and plug connections
    Remarque

    1x spring clip, Remove from vehicle, Plug hoses

    

31. Disconnect manifold to radiator hose from radiator and plug connections
    Remarque

    1x spring clips, Plug hoses

    

32. Release harness from CFM
    Remarque

    1x grommet, 2x connectors, 5x harness clips, Pull red locking tab to disengage louver connector, Release temperature sensor then disconnect, Release grommet and pull harness through from frunk area

    

    

    

33. Remove upper CFM fasteners
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm

    

    

34. Remove CFM
    Remarque

    Recommend assistance, Remove from below impact beam, Ensure harness is not pinched during removal

    

    

35. Remove LH front wheel
    Remarque

    6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm

    

36. Remove LH front lower control arm aero shield
    Remarque

    3x bolts, 10mm, 7 Nm

    

37. Remove LH front tie rod from LH front knuckle
    Remarque

    1x bolt, 21mm, 170 Nm

    

38. Remove bolts securing damper
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 21mm, 140 Nm, Be prepared for some spring load to release from bushings

    

39. Remove LH front end link from LH front lower arm
    Remarque

    1x bolt, 21mm, 175Nm, Counter hold stud, Discard nut after removal

    

40. Remove LH front lower arm from front knuckle
    Remarque

    1x nut, 24mm, 190 Nm, Discard after removal

    

41. Remove LH front lower arm from subframe
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 21mm, 175 Nm, 1x bolt, 24mm, 300 Nm, Discard after removal

    

    

42. Remove RH front wheel
    Remarque

    6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm

    

43. Remove RH front lower control arm shield
    Remarque

    3x bolts, 10mm, 7 Nm

    

44. Remove RH front tie rod from RH front knuckle
    Remarque

    1x bolt, 21mm, 170 Nm

    

45. Release RH front damper from lower control arm
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 21mm, 140 Nm

    

46. Remove RH front end link from RH front lower arm
    Remarque

    1x bolt, 21mm, 175Nm, Counter hold stud, Discard nut after removal

    

47. Remove RH front lower arm from front knuckle
    Remarque

    1x nut, 24mm, 190 Nm, Discard after removal

    

48. Remove RH front lower arm from subframe
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 21mm, 175 Nm, 1x bolt, 24mm, 300 Nm, Discard after removal

    

    

49. Disconnect front steering actuator
    Remarque

    4x connectors, Release locking tabs

    

50. Remove stabilizer bar
    Remarque

    Manuver stabilizer bar to LH side wheel well, Then clear front subframe and dropdown to clear

    

    

51. Remove bolts securing front steering actuator to front subframe
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 21mm, 175 Nm, Bolt size may vary depending on build date

    

    

    

52. Remove front steering actuator assembly
    Remarque

    Using assistance, Maneuver assembly toward RH wheel well, Clear LH side tie rod end link and remove assembly from center of subframeBe cautious of actuator connector housing

    

    

    

    

    

53. Move the subframe lifting tool underneath the front subframe area

    

54. Connect air supply to subframe lifting tool

    

55. Secure lifting tool onto front subframe
    Remarque

    Recommend assistance, Secure subframe to subframe lifting tool with straps,

    

    

    

56. Remove subframe bolts
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 24mm, 220 Nm, 2x bolts, 21mm, 220 Nm, 4x bolts, 24mm, 215 Nm, Rearmost four bolts with stud have lower torque value of 215 Nm

    

    

    

    

    

    

57. Lower subframe from vehicle
    Remarque

    Recommend assistance, Watch for any missed connections or trapped harnesses when lowering

    

58. Disconnect air supply from subframe lifting tool

    

59. Remove subframe lifting tool from under vehicle

    

60. Position subframe lifting tool with subframe assembly under vehicle

    

61. Connect shop air supply to powertrain table

    

62. Raise subframe into position
    Remarque

    Use caution to not damage components while raising subframe

    

63. Install subframe bolts
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 24mm, 220 Nm, 2x bolts, 21mm, 220 Nm, 4x bolts, 24mm, 215 Nm, Rearmost four bolts with stud have lower torque value of 215 Nm

    

    

    

    

    

    

64. Remove subframe lifting tool from under vehicle

    

65. Disconnect air supply from subframe lifting tool

    

66. Position front steering actuator onto front subframe
    Remarque

    Using assistance, Maneuver assembly through front subframe into RH wheel well area, Clear LH front tie rod end link and position for installBe cautious of actuator connector housing

    

    

    

    

    

    

67. Install bolts securing front steering actuator to subframe
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 21mm, 175 Nm, Bolt size may vary depending on build date

    

    

    

68. Position stabilizer bar
    Remarque

    Recommend assistance, Maneuver through LH front wheel well, then maneuver through opposing wheel well and position

    

    

69. Connect front steering actuator
    Remarque

    4x connectors, Engage locking tabs

    

70. Install RH front lower arm to subframe
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 21mm, 175 Nm, 1x bolt, 24mm, 300 Nm, Install new bolts

    

    

71. Install RH front lower arm to RH front knuckle
    Remarque

    1x nut, 24mm, 190 Nm, Install new nut

    

72. Install LH front end link to LH front lower arm
    Remarque

    1x bolt, 21mm, 175Nm, Counter hold stud, Discard nut after removal

    

73. Secure RH damper to lower control arm
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 21mm, 140 Nm

    

74. Install RH tie rod to RH front knuckle
    Remarque

    1x bolt, 21mm, 170 Nm

    

75. Install RH front lower control arm shield
    Remarque

    3x bolts, 10mm, 7 Nm

    

76. Install RH front wheel
    Remarque

    6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm

    

77. Install LH front lower arm to subframe
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 21mm, 175 Nm, 1x bolt, 24mm, 300 Nm, Install new bolts

    

    

    

78. Install LH front lower arm to LH front knuckle
    Remarque

    1x nut, 24mm, 190 Nm, Install new nut

    

79. Install LH front end link to LH front lower arm
    Remarque

    1x bolt, 21mm, 175Nm, Counter hold stud, Discard nut after removal

    

80. Secure LH damper to lower control arm
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 21mm, 140 Nm

    

81. Install LH front tie rod to LH front knuckle
    Remarque

    1x bolt, 21mm, 170 Nm, Verify weight is evenly distributed to ease installation

    

82. Install LH front lower control arm shield
    Remarque

    3x bolts, 10mm, 7 Nm

    

83. Install LH front wheel
    Remarque

    6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm

    

84. Install CFM
    Remarque

    Install from bottom, Assistance recommend Manipulate as required, Ensure harness is not pinched during install

    

    

85. Connect CFM connectors
    Remarque

    2x connectors, 4x clips

    

    

86. Install upper CFM fasteners
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm

    

    

87. Secure harness to CFM
    Remarque

    1x grommet, 2x connector, 1x harness clip, Secure grommet then connect temperature sensor, Engage locking tab on louver connector

    

    

    

88. Connect radiator inlet coolant hose
    Remarque

    1x spring clips,Ensure hose is fully engaged with a push-pull-push test

    

89. Connect radiator to manifold hose to radiator
    Remarque

    1x spring clip, Ensure hose is fully engaged with a push-pull-push test

    

    

90. Install fore crossmember
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 18mm, 90 Nm, Lift CFM away from beam to aid in clearance, Install beam by sliding rewards

    

    

    

91. Install lower CFM fasteners
    Remarque

    2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm

    

    

    

    

92. Install front lower fascia assembly
    Remarque

    Ensure no harnesses are pinched

    

    

93. Install RH fascia fastener and connectors
    Remarque

    1x bolt, 10mm, 6 Nm, 1x clip, 3x connectors, Pull wheel liner back for access, Engage locking tab

    

    

94. Secure RH wheel liner
    Remarque

    4x clips

    

95. Install LH fascia fastener
    Remarque

    1x bolt, 10mm, 6 Nm, Pull wheel liner back for access

    

96. Secure LH wheel liner
    Remarque

    4x clips

    

97. Install front fascia fasteners and covers
    Remarque

    2x covers, 6x bolts, 10mm, 4 Nm, Install tow hook covers

    

    

    

98. Install front center applique
    Remarque

    8x tabs, 1x connector, Ensure all tabs engage, Secure frunk release trigger connector

    

    

99. Connect first responder loop and MV battery connector
    Remarque

    2x connectors, Connect FRL connector then secure locking tab, Position lever to secure MV battery connector then slide eCPA to right, Early production trucks may have black FRL connector, If power cycling vehicle then ensure at least 60 seconds has passed since powering down

    

    

    

100. Access thermal system routines using the UI
     Remarque

     Select quick controls > Service mode > Thermal > Actions

     

     

101. Select "Stop Thermal Fill Drain" through UI
     Remarque

     Allow routine to complete, ensure routine is successful
102. Select "Start Coolant Air Purge" using the UI
     Remarque

     Touch time only, wait until coolant pumps stop running (audible noise), Routine Passed will appear, but pumps will run for 10 minutes, If you start next another routine during this time it will fail, Make sure vehicle is not in "Drive", Routine is still running despite the completed message, Speeds can be monitored in garage under PT Thermal tab, Idle speed = ~1500 RPM, Test will vary speeds from 3500-6500 RPM and actuate valves between SERIES and PARALLEL, Putting vehicle into "Drive" will stop this routine, If speeds hover at 7000 RPM, this indicates the pumps are air locked, perform a vacuum fill, Continue to add coolant and purge until the coolant level reaches between the NOM and MAX Lines on the bottle
103. Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks

104. Install front aero shield fasteners
     Remarque

     17x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm, Apply Loctite 222 to aero shield fasteners, Close bolt lids

     

     

     

     

105. Install lower valence fasteners
     Remarque

     2x clips, 2x covers, 6x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm, Secure covers

     

     

     

     

     

106. Lower vehicle until tires are touching the ground
     Remarque

     Raise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered

     

     

107. Perform Thermal Performance through the UI
     Remarque

     Select Thermal > Actions > Test Thermal Performance, click Run, close once routine is completed, if thermal test fails follow toolbox article 206000
108. Torque RH front wheel nuts
     Remarque

     6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm, Use star pattern

     

109. Install RH front wheel cap
     Remarque

     1x cap, 8x clips, Partially secure wheel cap to wheel, While partially installed wheel cover can be rotated to align with tire design, When aligned press inward from center of cap then secure all clips to mounting ring

     

     

     

110. Torque LH front wheel nuts
     Remarque

     6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm, Use star pattern

     

111. Install LH front wheel cap
     Remarque

     1x cap, 8x clips, Partially secure wheel cap to wheel, While partially installed wheel cover can be rotated to align with tire design, When aligned press inward from center of cap then secure all clips to mounting ring

     

     

     

112. Install the frunk assembly. See Frunk Assembly (Remove and Install).
113. Installez le tablier sous le capot. Voir Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install),
114. Fermez le coffre avant électrique.
115. Retirez le véhicule du pont élévateur. Voir Soulever le véhicule - pont élévateur à 2 poteaux,
