Set up Snap-On AC machine
RemarqueTouch time only, Connect to power, Turn power switch on, and select gas type

Navigate to Refrigerant System through UI
RemarqueSelect Service Mode > Thermal > Refrigerant System

Select "Start Thermal Fill Drain (Coolant and Refrigerant)" through UI
RemarqueAllow routine to complete, ensure routine is successful
- Ouvrez le coffre avant électrique.
- Retirez le tablier arrière situé sous le capot. Voir Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install),
- Débranchez l’alimentation MT. Voir Mid-Voltage Power (Disconnect and Connect),
- Soulevez et soutenez le véhicule. Voir Soulever le véhicule - pont élévateur à 2 poteaux,

Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks
RemarqueSet vehicle to comfortable working height, Ensure an audible click of locks on both sides is heard before lowering, Vehicle may tilt to the side if both locks are not engaged
- Remove the rear skid plate. See Skid Plate - Rear (Remove and Install).

Remove all items from pockets and ensure not wearing metal items

Inspect HV insulating gloves
RemarqueCheck gloves for damage prior to use, Refer to service document TN-15-92-003, for information on inspecting HV gloves.

Put on HV insulating gloves and leather over gloves
RemarqueUse HV cut resistant insulated gloves or HV insulating gloves and leather over gloves, HV Insulating gloves must be worn any time a Hioki Tester or Hi-Pot Tester is used, Refer to service document TN-15-92-003 R5 for PPE requirements depending on vehicle configuration.

Verify no HV - Install amp clamp to RDU HV harness
RemarqueVerify meter is zeroed out before performing measurement, Measure single cable. Verify ammeter is installed in correct direction. If current > 0.5A do not proceed with disconnecting HV connector. In this case, start vehicle electrical isolation again to make sure that all was properly shut down. Escalate for assistance as requiredIf current < 0.5A, Ok to disconnect and check voltage at HV plug on the battery side.Release locking tab and rotate the release lever up to disengage the connector, Release harness clip, Do not force the release lever up, Ensure the alignment tabs on the RDU header are not damagedMake sure to wear PPE (HV gloves, safety glasses) when working on high voltage component, Measure B+ to Ground, B- to Ground, B+ to B-, If voltage is greater than 10V, Pack contactors are not open or welded, Stop work and reach out to Service Engineering

Secure RDU header connector to ancillary
Remarque1x connector, Verify lever is in the upright and open position, Carefully seat connector and allow lever to engage, Fully secure lever and verify red tab is locked, Do not damage any pins
- Remove leather over gloves and HV insulating gloves
- Install the rear skid plate. See Skid Plate - Rear (Remove and Install).
- Remove the front aero shield. See Aeroshield - Front (Remove and Install).

Place coolant catcher below RH front of vehicle

Lower vehicle until tires are touching the ground
RemarqueRaise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered

Remove caps from low side and high side AC ports

Connect AC hoses to vehicle

Perform refrigerant system recovery
RemarqueTouch time only: Note the amount of refrigerant and oil recovered, Refrigerant Type > Manual Menu > Recovery/Recycle > Verify hose connections, Machine will chime once process is complete, Vehicle may be left unattended, Note or print the amount of refrigerant and oil recovered, Refrigerant recovered should be ~2.24 lb (1.02 kg), Oil recovered should be ~0.3 oz (8.87 mL)

Remove AC hoses from vehicle

Release vacuum from A/C lines
Remarque2x schrader valves, Carefully depress the schrader valves to release vacuum from A/C lines
- Remove the frunk assembly. See Frunk Assembly (Remove and Install).

Remove bolts securing supermanifold
Remarque2x bolts, 15mm, 33 Nm, Break free then remove by hand to avoid tool jamming, Support manifold from underneath, Lower Supermanifold until resting on HVAC case

Disconnect the powertrain bypass hose, radiator outlet hose, radiator inlet hose from the Supermanifold
Remarque3x spring clips, This will drain the coolant reservoir
-
Disconnect radiator to manifold hose from radiator and plug connections
Remarque1x spring clip, Remove from vehicle, Plug hoses

Disconnect supermanifold harness
Remarque1x connector

Disconnect battery supply hose, powertrain supply hose, and battery return hose from supermanifold
Remarque3x spring clip, 2x connectors, Do not push down on red tab, Pull red tab to disengage lock, Pull again to release connector, Pull supermanifold forward to access clips and connectors

Release remote brake fluid reservoir
Remarque1x bolt, 10mm, 8 Nm, 1x datum, Lift upwards to release datum, Position aside, Avoid tipping over

Disconnect AC compressor logic connector
Remarque1x locking electrical connector, Do not push down on red tab, Pull to disengage lock, Pull again to release connector

Disconnect HV harness connector from AC compressor
Remarque1x locking electrical connector, Pull red locking tab away from compressor then slide black lock upwards to release

Remove AC compressor ground strap
Remarque1x bolt, 10mm, 16 Nm, Release harness edge clip once ground is free

Release compressor from Megabeam
Remarque3x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, Recommend assistance, Support the AC compressor while removing the fasteners, Carefully remove the AC compressor towards the front of the vehicle and under the Megabeam, Place fender cover on fan housing and gently place AC compressor assembly down

Release refrigerant suction and discharge lines from compressor
Remarque2x nuts, 13mm, 22 Nm, Remove nuts then remove AC line assembly from compressor, Ensure washers do not remain on compressor

Remove compressor from vehicle
-
Remove NVH cover from compressor
Remarque5x tabs

Protect the LP and HP opening ports on the AC compressor

Install NVH cover to compressor
Remarque5x tabs, Ensure cover is secure, New compressor oil weight is 250G
-
Install AC flush adapters onto AC manifold to compressor lines
Remarque2x nuts, 13mm, 22 Nm, Install flush adapters onto suction and discharge lines on compressor side, Leave seal washers on AC manifold line, Inspect o-rings and replace if damaged, Use 13mm nuts from compressor to secure flush adapters

Perform AC System Flush procedure
RemarqueTouch time only, System flush procedure runs for approximately 90 minutes, Minimum of 3200g of refrigerant needed in tank to run system flush procedure, On AC machine main menu select > Manual > Flushing Kit, Enter 25min vacuum time > Enter > Connect and open couplers > Enter, Machine will perform multiple flush cycles, Allow process to complete

Remove AC flush adapters from supermanifold to compressor AC line assembly
Remarque2x nuts, 13mm, 22 Nm

Remove nut securing Penta HVAC line assembly to the Supermanifold plate
Remarque1x nut, 13mm, 36 Nm

Remove AC line from Supermanifold
Remarque1x bolt, 13mm, 22 Nm, 1x bolt, 10mm, 8 Nm, Remove bolt at supermanifold then mounting bracket bolt near LV battery, Remove AC line assembly from supermanifold, Ensure no washers remain on supermanifold

Remove the Supermanifold from the vehicle
RemarqueRecommend assistance, Rotate the Supermanifold counter clockwise under the Megabeam, Support from underneath and at reservoir

Remove pentaline assembly
Remarque2x bolts, 13mm, ? Nm, Use deep socket and extension on lower bolt, Use standard socket on upper bolt, Ensure no washers remain on HVAC case

Install pentaline assembly
Remarque2x bolts, 13mm, ? Nm, Use deep socket and extension on lower bolt, Use standard socket on upper bolt, Ensure washer seals remain in place

Install the Supermanifold to the vehicle
RemarqueRecommend assistance, Rotate the Supermanifold counter clockwise under the Megabeam, Support from underneath and at reservoir, Align penta HVAC line

Install refrigerant suction and discharge lines to compressor
Remarque2x nuts, 13mm, 22 Nm, Install new washer seals, Position AC lines onto studs then install nuts

Install AC compressor to Megabeam
Remarque3x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, Recommend assistance, Support the AC compressor while installing the fasteners, Start bolts by hand

Secure remote brake fluid reservoir
Remarque1x bolt, 10mm, 8 Nm, 1x datum, Align datum and slide downwards to engage

Connect HV harness connector to AC compressor
Remarque1x locking electrical connector, Slide down black lock then push in red locking tab, Perform a push-pull-push test, Ensure red locking tab is fully engaged, Black tab will protrude from red locking tab when engaged correctly, Refer to images and video for clarity

Install AC compressor ground strap
Remarque1x bolt, 10mm, 16 Nm

Connect AC compressor logic connector
Remarque1x connector, Engage locking tab

Secure chiller to battery hose, powertrain supply hose, chiller to battery hose to supermanifold
Remarque3x spring clip, 2x connectors, Engage locking tabs, Ensure all hoses are fully engaged with a push-pull-push test

Install pentaline to Supermanifold
Remarque1x nut, 13mm, 36 Nm, Ensure good alignment of pipes before tightening nut

Install bolts securing supermanifold
Remarque2x bolts, 15mm, 33 Nm, Start by hand
-
Connect radiator to manifold hose to radiator
Remarque1x spring clip, Ensure hose is fully engaged with a push-pull-push test
-
Secure powertrain bypass hose, radiator outlet hose, and radiator inlet hose to Supermanifold
Remarque3x spring clips, Ensure all hoses are fully engaged with a push-pull-push test

Connect supermanifold electrical connector
Remarque1x connector

Install AC manifold line assembly to Supermanifold
Remarque1x bolt, 13mm, 22 Nm, 1x bolt, 10mm, 8 Nm, Install manifold to Supermanifold then secure bracket near LV battery

Reconnect AC hoses to vehicle
-
Perform system vacuum and refrigerant refill
RemarqueSelect 20 mins of Vacuum, Recharge refrigerant to car's specs, add oil quantity as needed, select both HP and LP for charging
-
Remove AC hoses from vehicle
-
Install caps onto AC ports
Remarque2x caps

Remove coolant bottle cap
-
Install coolant reservoir adaptor cap onto coolant bottle assembly
-
Place empty coolant container into front storage area
RemarqueIf frunk is not installed take caution, CFM fan shroud assembly cannot support a full coolant container, Ensure overflow container is empty, Place fender cover over FEM and front fascia

Fill container with at least 15L of coolant
-
Place filled coolant container onto coolant drain & fill cart
RemarqueDo not place container with 15L of coolant on top of CFM fan shroud, Position cart as close as possible to front of vehicle
-
Setup coolant refill tool
RemarqueVerify all valves on refill tool are in the closed position, See image for clarity

Install vacuum refill hose to refill cap on coolant bottle
RemarquePerform push-pull-push test to verify hose is fully installed
-
Position overflow hose into empty container
-
Place refill hose inside filled coolant container
RemarqueMake sure hose end is fully submerged into coolant
-
Connect shop air supply to coolant refill tool
RemarqueIf not already done, Verify refill valve is set to off
-
Open air inlet valve to draw a vacuum, Once gauge stabilizes, Fully close valve
RemarqueGauge stabilizes roughly (60-70 cmHg), Vacuum should not drop after the valves are closed
-
Slowly open the refill valve to allow coolant to be drawn into the system
RemarqueMake sure hose end of refill hose is fully submerged during entire process
-
Once the gauge reads zero, close the coolant refill valve
-
Remove shop air supply to coolant refill tool
RemarqueIf not already done, Verify refill valve is set to off
-
Remove coolant refill hose from coolant container
-
Remove coolant overflow hose from coolant container
-
Remove vacuum refill hose from refill cap on coolant bottle
-
Remove vacuum refill cap from coolant bottle assembly
-
Remove coolant refill tool from vehicle
RemarqueMove coolant drain & fill cart away from vehicle

Remove coolant container from inside underhood area

Perform software reinstall
RemarqueVia UI > Service Mode > Software Reinstall > CAN ECU > Reinstall, Reinstall will begin immediately, Once firmware redeploy is complete, Verify release notes are present via UI

Access thermal system routines using the UI
RemarqueSelect quick controls > Service mode > Thermal > Actions

Select "Start Coolant Air Purge" using the UI
RemarqueTouch time only, wait until coolant pumps stop running (audible noise), Routine Passed will appear, but pumps will run for 10 minutes, If you start next another routine during this time it will fail, Make sure vehicle is not in "Drive", Routine is still running despite the completed message, Speeds can be monitored in garage under PT Thermal tab, Idle speed = ~1500 RPM, Test will vary speeds from 3500-6500 RPM and actuate valves between SERIES and PARALLEL, Putting vehicle into "Drive" will stop this routine, If speeds hover at 7000 RPM, this indicates the pumps are air locked, perform a vacuum fill, Continue to add coolant and purge until the coolant level reaches between the NOM and MAX Lines on the bottle

Inspect coolant level and top off as necessary
RemarqueEnsure that the fluid level is at the Max line, Top off fluid as required

Install coolant bottle cap

Navigate to Refrigerant System through UI
RemarqueSelect Service Mode > Thermal > Refrigerant System

Perform Heat Pump Commissioning through UI

Perform Thermal Performance through the UI
RemarqueSelect Thermal > Actions > Test Thermal Performance, click Run, close once routine is completed
