  1. Open all the doors and lower all the windows.
  2. Open the liftgate.
  3. Move the front seats forward.
  4. Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Sitzkissen – Unten – 2. Sitzreihe (Ausbauen und Ersetzen).
  5. Remove the LH and RH lower C-pillar trims. See Verkleidung – C-Säule – Unten – LH (Ausbauen und Ersetzen).
  6. Push to open the LH coat hook.
  7. Release the locking tab to open the LH coat hook screw cover.
  8. Remove the LH coat hook screw.
    1 Nm (.7 lbs-ft)

  9. Repeat step 5 through step 8 for the RH coat hook.
  10. Remove the rear trunk load floor. See Ladefläche Kofferraum – Hinten (Ausbauen und Ersetzen).
  11. Remove the front trunk load floor. See Ladefläche Kofferraum – Vorn (Ausbauen und Ersetzen).
  12. Remove the trunk sill trim. See Verkleidung – Schweller – Kofferraum (Ausbauen und Ersetzen).
  13. Remove the LH trunk load floor bracket. See Halterung – Ladefläche Kofferraum – LH (Ausbauen und Ersetzen).
  14. Remove the LH trunk pocket bracket. See Halterung – Kofferraumtasche – LH (Ausbauen und Ersetzen).
  15. Remove the LH trunk side trim. See Verkleidung – Seite – Kofferraum – LH (Ausbauen und Ersetzen).
  16. Remove the LH upper C-pillar trim. See Verkleidung – C-Säule – Oben – LH (Ausbauen und Ersetzen).
  17. Repeat step 13 through step 16 for the RH side of the vehicle.
  18. Release the clips that attach the rear edge of the rear headliner to the vehicle.
  19. Remove the liftgate assembly. See Heckklappenbaugruppe (Aus- und Einbauen).
  20. Remove the bolt that attaches the liftgate hinge to the vehicle.
    12 Nm (8.8 lbs-ft)
    Tipp: Es wird empfohlen, die folgenden Werkzeuge zu verwenden:
    • Steckschlüssel, 10 mm
  21. Remove the nuts (x2) that attach the LH liftgate hinge to the vehicle.
    30 Nm (22.1 lbs-ft)
    Tipp: Es wird empfohlen, die folgenden Werkzeuge zu verwenden:
    • Steckschlüssel, 13 mm
  22. Remove the LH liftgate hinge from the vehicle.

Montieren

  1. Position the LH liftgate hinge into the vehicle.

  2. Install and hand tighten the bolt that attaches the liftgate hinge to the vehicle.
    Tipp: Es wird empfohlen, die folgenden Werkzeuge zu verwenden:
    • Steckschlüssel, 10 mm
  3. Install and hand tighten the nuts (x2) that attach the LH liftgate hinge to the vehicle.
    Tipp: Es wird empfohlen, die folgenden Werkzeuge zu verwenden:
    • Steckschlüssel, 13 mm
  4. Install the liftgate assembly. See Heckklappenbaugruppe (Aus- und Einbauen).
  5. Tighten the nuts (x2) that attach the LH liftgate hinge to the vehicle.
    30 Nm (22.1 lbs-ft)
    Tipp: Es wird empfohlen, die folgenden Werkzeuge zu verwenden:

  6. Tighten the bolt that attaches the liftgate hinge to the vehicle.
    12 Nm (8.8 lbs-ft)

  7. Install the clips that attach the rear edge of the rear headliner to the vehicle.

  11. Install the LH trunk load floor bracket. See Halterung – Ladefläche Kofferraum – LH (Ausbauen und Ersetzen).
  12. Repeat step 8 through step 11 for the RH side of the vehicle.
  13. Install the trunk sill trim. See Verkleidung – Schweller – Kofferraum (Ausbauen und Ersetzen).
  14. Install the front trunk load floor. See Ladefläche Kofferraum – Vorn (Ausbauen und Ersetzen).
  15. Install the rear trunk load floor. See Ladefläche Kofferraum – Hinten (Ausbauen und Ersetzen).
  16. Install the LH and RH lower C-pillar trims. See Verkleidung – C-Säule – Unten – LH (Ausbauen und Ersetzen).
  17. Install the LH coat hook screw.
    1 Nm (.7 lbs-ft)

  18. Close the LH coat hook screw cover.
  19. Push to close the LH coat hook.
  20. Repeat step 17 through step 19 for the RH coat hook.
  21. Install the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Sitzkissen – Unten – 2. Sitzreihe (Ausbauen und Ersetzen).
  22. Close the liftgate.
  23. Move front seats to original position.
  24. Raise all windows and close all the doors.
