  1. Remove the front drive unit. See Unité d’entraînement - avant (retirez et installez)
  2. Release bolts securing RHS bushing carrier and remove assembly

    4x bolts, EP20, 60 Nm + 50 Degrees, Verify FDU strap is secured properly, Recommend assistance to prevent unit from tilting
  3. Install RHS bushing carrier and secure bolts

  4. Remove bolts from LH FDU clevis mount to body

  5. Release bolts securing clevis to LH motor mount assembly

  6. Release bolts securing LH motor mount assembly to FDU

  7. Separate clevis mount from LH motor mount assembly

Installer

  1. Install bolts securing LH motor mount assembly to FDU

    3x bolts, E14, 35 Nm + 55 degrees, Install bolts and perform final torque in the sequence shown
  2. Position the FDU assembly under the vehicle for installation
  3. Raise the FDU into the vehicle

    Recommend assistance, Keep harnesses and hoses clear of FDU during install
  4. Loosely install bolts securing LH FDU mount to body

    2x bolts, E14, 65 Nm
  5. Install bolts securing clevis to LH motor mount assembly

    2x bolts, E14, 92 Nm, Center clevis mount and torque bolts
  6. Raise the FDU until the front fastener securing RH FDU mount to the body can be installed

  7. Loosely install the front fastener securing the RH FDU mount to the body

    1x bolt, EP20, 120 Nm, Torque at later step
  8. Install bolt securing rear of RH FDU mount

  9. Torque bolt securing front of RH FDU mount to body
