Verify operation of windshield wipers and nozzles
AnmerkungEnsure hood and doors are closed prior to activating wipers, Inspect and note functionality for wipers and wiper jets, Check for full range of motion, speed of motion, interference with other components, noises such as creaks, groans and clicks, pauses or incomplete actions

Verify operation of horn
AnmerkungPress button on steering wheel and verify high and low tones both sound

Perform a road test using a series of ABS-active stops and ensure proper brake pedal feel and performance
AnmerkungThe vehicle must stop completely within 25 feet (7.6 meters) at 20 mph (32 kph), Confirm that no excessive vibration or noise is present

Inspect vehicles alignment
AnmerkungConfirm steering wheel is straight and no vibrations or noises are felt or heard from the suspension, On a flat road, at 35 mph (56 kph), the vehicle does not pull in either direction

Open hood
AnmerkungPress "Open" button on touchscreen to release latch, Lift lid manually

Remove rear apron

Remove cabin intake upper duct assembly

Remove closeout panel from frunk assembly
Anmerkung4x clips, 1x connector, Frunk safety switch, 3x guide tabs, Grab closeout panel from bottom then pull it upward to release clips, Disconnect switch

Remove bolts securing frunk assembly
Anmerkung7x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm

Remove frunk assembly from vehicle
Anmerkung12x clips, Replace any clips if broken or missing, Number of clips may vary on older vehicles

Perform inspection of under hood area
AnmerkungPerform inspection of vehicle under hood area, Check for signs of abnormal damage, wear, heavy rust, wiring damage, or impact damage, Pay attention to safety related component and note any items of significance

Visually inspect brake fluid level

Fill washer reservoir with fluid

Inspect coolant level and top off as necessary

Raise and support vehicle

Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks
AnmerkungSet vehicle to comfortable working height, Ensure an audible click of locks on both sides is heard before lowering, Vehicle may tilt to the side if both locks are not engaged

Remove outer fasteners securing front aero shield

Remove LH rear suspension cover

Check all four tire pressures manually
Anmerkung4x tires, Set to specification if necessary, Refer to the "Tire and Loading Information" label located on the driver side B-pillar, Inspect wheels and tires for any bulges or damage while checking/setting pressures

Record tread depth for LH front tire
AnmerkungMeasure and record the outer, center, and inner tread depths, Measure the circumferential tire grooves only, Do not place the tire tread gauge probe on the molded treadwear indicators, Recommend replacement if tread depth is 4/32in (3mm) or less

Record tread depth for LH rear tire

Install rear aero shield
Anmerkung13x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, Apply Loctite 222 to bolts before installing

Position front aero shield to vehicle
Anmerkung2x nuts, 15mm, 8 Nm, Hand-tighten the nuts to temporarily hold the panel in place

Apply Loctite 222 onto front aero shield bolts and install outer fasteners to front aero shield
Anmerkung9x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm

Lower vehicle fully
AnmerkungRaise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered

Remove vehicle from lift
AnmerkungLower rack arms fully and remove from under vehicle

Install frunk assembly to vehicle
Anmerkung12x clips, Make sure frunk assembly is fully seated onto clips, Number of clips may vary on older vehicles, Ensure A/C compressor HVIL harness is not pinched between frunk assembly and thermal beam, replace any damaged clips

Install bolts securing frunk assembly
Anmerkung7x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm

Install frunk close out panel
Anmerkung4x clips, 1x connector, Frunk safety switch, 3x guide tabs, Align 3x tabs then push downward to secure clips

Install cabin intake upper duct assembly
Anmerkung3x clips, Some configurations may come with 4x clips

Install rear apron
