1. Open all four doors
   Nota

   Push pillar door triggers to release
2. Lower all four windows
3. Raise and move LH front seat forward
4. Move RH front seat forward
5. Open tonneau cover
   Nota

   Press forward arrow on LH bed rail
6. Open tailgate
   Nota

   Press button to release, Use manual release as necessary
7. Open powered front trunk
   Nota

   Via exterior switch or UI
8. Power off vehicle from center display
   Nota

   Verify EPBs are engaged, Select charge port icon to ensure drive state is disengaged then power down vehicle via Controls > Safety > Power Off

   

9. Remove rear underhood apron
   Nota

   9x clips

   

   

10. Disconnect first responder loop and MV battery connector
    Nota

    2x connectors, Release locking tab then disconnect FRL connector, Slide eCPA to left then lift lever to release MV battery connector, Early production trucks may have black FRL connector, Release eCPA by pushing down to unlock and slide red locking tab, Wait 2 minutes for electrical circuits to discharge before disconnecting modules

    

    

    

11. Remove front header trim
    Nota

    19x clips, 1x magnet, 1x connector, 1x harness clip

    

    

    

12. Remove LH mid A-pillar trim
    Nota

    1x clip, 3x tabs, Release tabs then slightly bend live hinge and release clip

    

    

    

13. Remove LH IP quarter panel
    Nota

    3x large clips, 3x small clips, 2x datums, 3x doghouses, Release small inner clips then locate doghouses, Break doghouse walls to release from panel, Remove panel then remove doghouses and clips, Protect IP as needed, If IP is damaged then proceed to replacement, Panel is single use, Discard after removal

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

14. Remove LH upper A-pillar panel

    8x clips, 1x tether clip, 1x harness clip, 1x connector, 1x bolt, 10mm, 6 Nm, Pull inwards to release, Depress tabs on either side of tether clip to release, Apply tape onto top pad to prevent damage

    

    

    

    

    

    

15. Remove rear header trim
    Nota

    12x clips, 3x datums

    

    

16. Remove LH lower C-pillar trim
    Nota

    3x clips, 7x tabs, 4x datums, Starting at door sill pull upward then forward to release, Leave trim attached to seat belt

    

    

    

17. Remove LH cantrail trim panel
    Nota

    5x clips, 1x connector, 1x tab, 3x bolts, T30, 6 Nm, Release clips then allow cantrail to hang from tethers for access to fasteners

    

    

    

    

18. Remove LH 2nd row shoulder cover

    7x clips, 1x datum

    

    

    

19. Remove 2nd row seatback LH outboard bolster
    Nota

    2x tabs, 1x datum, 3x clips, Release tab near the bottom of LH outboard bolster, Partially release LH 2nd row shoulder cover and remove bolster from vehicle

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

20. Remove LH C-pillar upper trim

21. Partially release RH lower C-pillar trim

    12x short bolts, 15mm, 56 Nm, 2x long bolts, 15mm, 46Nm, Lift front edge with trim tool then remove panel, Recommend assistance

    

    

    

    

31. Remove LH sail applique
    Nota

    9x clips, 6x double-sided tape strips, 1x connector, 1x harness clip, Lift rear edge first to remove connector and harness clip, Remove double-sided tape from applique and bed side, Remove any remaining adhesive with IPA wipes, Discard sail applique after removal, If superseded sail applique is present then discard and install latest revision

    

    

    

    

    

32. Remove LH tonneau water management seal
    Nota

    1x clip, Pull away from rail to release from groove

    

    

33. Remove LH upper bed side wall assembly
    Nota

    8x clips, Start from rear, Lift tonneau seal as required. Pull from the bottom downwards.

    

    

34. Remove LH bed closeout panel
    Nota

    6x clips, 1x tab, Release LH tailgate cable by disengaging lock spring from bolt and sliding cable eyelet off to allow removal of bed closeout panel from vehicle

    

    

    

    

35. Remove LH lower bed side wall
    Nota

    1x bolt, 15mm, 46 Nm, 2x bolts, T45, 36 Nm, 4x bolts, 10mm, 11 Nm, 2x nuts, 10mm, 7 Nm, 4x clips, 1x fastener cover, 3x connectorsRelease locking tabs, Disconnect bed outlet connectors from bed side wall and ground strap, 1x bolt, 10mm, 10 Nm, 2x connectors, Release locking tabs, Slide lock to release.

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

36. Remove LH tonneau rail

45. Remove LH backlight applique assembly

    2x clips, 1x adhesive strip, Cut adhesive then pry inward to release

    

    

    

46. Remove RH backlight applique assembly

47. Remove LH tonneau motor

61. Install tonneau applique

    2x bolts, T30, 9 Nm, Position over mounting points then apply downward pressure to engage front and rear attachment points, Install bolts, Ensure seal is not caught outboard of applique, Use trim tool to adjust seal position as required

    

    

    

    

    

    

62. Install false wall
    Nota

    2x bolts, 15mm, 45 Nm. Recommended to use assistance to prevent scratching bed liner

    

    

    

63. Install RH tonneau rail
    Nota

    9x bolts, 10mm, 9 Nm, Maneuver rail into position, Fasteners may vary, if needed add new bolt to secure RH sail applique corner bracket into place

    

    

    

    

    

    

64. Install RH bed side wall
    Nota

    1x bolt, 15mm, 46 Nm, 2x bolts, T40, 36 Nm, 4x bolts, 10mm, 11 Nm, 2x nuts, 10mm, 7 Nm, 4x clips, 1x fastener cover, 1x connector, Recommend assistance

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

65. Install RH bed closeout panel
    Nota

    6x clips, 1x tab, Release RH tailgate cable to install bed closeout panel from vehicle

    

    

    

66. Install RH upper bed side wall assembly
    Nota

    8x clips, Replace any missing or damaged clips, Lift tonneau seal as required

    

    

67. Install RH tonneau water management seal
    Nota

    1x clip, Push seal into rail groove

    

    

68. Clean RH tonneau rail surface
    Nota

    Remove any adhesive tape remaining, Use a cordless drill with eraser wheel attachment for ease adhesive residue removal, Wipe surface with IPA wipes, Allow IPA to dry for 1 minute

    

69. Install RH sail applique
    Nota

    9x clips, 6x double-sided tape strips, 1x push nut, Install new RH sail applique, Do not remove forward section of double-sided tape backing until push nut is installed, Position applique, Partially lift applique to install push nut securing applique onto body, Secure rear of applique, Wet out urethane adhesive sections with roller, If superseded sail applique is present then discard and install latest revision

    

    

    

    

    

70. Install LH tonneau rail
    Nota

    9x bolts, 10mm, 9 Nm, Maneuver rail into position, Fasteners may vary, if needed add new bolt to secure applique corner bracket into place

    

    

    

    

    

    

71. Install LH lower bed side wall

    1x bolt, 15mm, 46 Nm, 2x bolts, 13mm, 36 Nm, 4x bolts, 10mm, 11 Nm, 2x nuts, 10mm, 7 Nm, 4x clips, 1x fastener cover, 1x connector, Secure locking tabs, Connect bed outlet connectors onto bed side wall and ground strap, 1x bolt, 10mm, 10 Nm, 2x connectors, Secure locking tabs, Slide lock to secure, Recommend assistance

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

72. Install LH bed closeout panel
    Nota

    6x clips, 1x tab, Secure LH tailgate cable once closeout installed

    

    

    

73. Install LH upper bed side wall assembly

74. Install LH tonneau water management seal

    1x clip, Push seal into rail groove

    

    

75. Clean LH tonneau rail surface

98. Connect first responder loop and MV battery connector

    2x connectors, Connect FRL connector then secure locking tab, Position lever to secure MV battery connector then slide eCPA to right, Early production trucks may have black FRL connector, If power cycling vehicle then ensure at least 60 seconds has passed since powering down

    

    

    

99. Install rear underhood apron

    9x clips, Adjust windshield seal as required

    

    

100. Close powered front trunk
     Nota
