Sensor - Position - Seat Track - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Monopost) (Remove & Replace)

Retrait

  1. Open all doors and the liftgate.
  2. Move both front seats forward.
  3. Remove 2nd row floor mat.
  4. Move both 2nd row seats forward using easy entry.
  5. Apply painters tape to LH and RH racetrack to avoid damage.
  6. Remove the LH and RH rear sill panel trim (Garniture - panneau de seuil - arrière - gauche (retrait et remplacement)).
  7. Remove the LH and RH lower C-pillar trim ((voir la procédure)).
  8. Fold down the LH and RH 3rd row seats.
  9. Remove LH and RH rear trunk side garnish (Garniture - coffre arrière - latérale - gauche (retrait et remplacement)).
  10. Remove the LH and RH mid C-pillar trim (Garniture – montant arrière – centrale – gauche (retrait et remplacement)).
  11. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the C-pillar lower panel to LH and RH parcel shelf support (torque 2 Nm).
  12. Release the clips (x2) and magnet that attach the rear edge of LH and RH C-pillar lower panel to the rear trunk side carpet panel, and then pull the top edge of C-pillar lower panel out.
  13. Release the clips (x9) that attach the LH and RH C-pillar lower panel along the front edge, and then remove the panel.
  14. Put tape on the rear center console cup holder trim to prevent it from damage.
  15. Move both 2nd row seats rearward using easy entry.
  16. Release the clips (x4), tilt the front edge of the second row floor panel 3 upwards, and then remove it in vertical position.

    ATTENTION
    Take precautions not to damage the rear of the center console during removal.
  17. Move the LH second row seat forward.
  18. Remove the clips (x8) that attach the podium trim panels to the LH 2nd row seat.
  19. Move the LH second row seat fully backward.
  20. Peel back the 2nd row seat sliding panel carpet stag beetle carpet.
  21. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the front sliding panel to the seat tracks of the LH rear seat.
  22. Remove the front sliding panel from the seat tracks of the LH rear seat.
  23. Maneuver the seat track sensor connector out from the installed position.
  24. Disconnect the seat track position sensor connector.
  25. Remove the rivet that attaches the seat track sensor to the seat track.

    Remarque
    Use a 4 mm drill to remove the top portion of the rivet.
  26. Remove the seat track position sensor from the seat track.
  27. Remove the remaining rivet from the seat frame.
  28. Vacuum all the aluminum filings.

Installation

La procédure d’installation est l’inverse de la procédure de retrait, à l’exception de ce qui suit :
  1. Put the seat track position sensor in position, and then install a 3.9 mm rivet to attach the seat track position sensor to seat track.
  2. Connect the seat track position sensor connector to the seat harness.
  3. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle.
  4. Unlock the gateway. See Déverrouillage de passerelle.
  5. Pour désactiver le mode d'installation du siège, cliquez sur l'onglet Actions dans Toolbox 3, saisissez « Installation du siège » dans le champ de recherche, cliquez sur PROC_BCREAR_X_SEAT-INSTALL-MODE-OFFvia Toolbox:(link), cliquez sur Exécuter et laissez la routine se terminer.
  6. Dans Toolbox 3, cliquez sur l'onglet Actions, puis saisissez « PROC_BCS2L » dans le champ de recherche, cliquez sur PROC_BCS2L_R2-L_CALIBRATE-S2L-TRACKvia Toolbox:(link), cliquez sur Exécuter, et laissez la routine se terminer.
  7. Disconnect Toolbox and remove the laptop from the vehicle.
  8. Continue to install all parts that were previously removed.
