Overlay
- Open both front doors and lower both front windows.
- Remove the underhood storage unit. See Unité de rangement sous le capot (retrait et installation).
- Remove the wiper module. See Module d’essuie-glace (retirez et remplacez).
- Move the RH front seat backward.

Remove RH front floor mat

Remove RH footwell cover
Remarque3x magnets, 1x connector, 4x datums

Remove RH console side carpet
Remarque11x clips, 2x datums

Remove RH front door sill trim panel
Remarque8x clips, 3x datums, Partially release seal if needed

Remove RH IP end cap
Remarque3x clips

Remove RH mid A-pillar trim
Remarque2x clips, 3x datums, Release clips from upper A-pillar and IP sub assembly, Lift mid A-pillar trim out of lower A-pillar trim

Remove RH lower A-pillar trim
Remarque1x bolt, T25, 5 Nm, 2x clips, 1x datum

Fold RH front cabin carpet aside for access

Release harness from RH footrest panel

Release RH footrest panel
Remarque2x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, 2x nuts, 10mm, 5 Nm

Remove RH footrest panel
RemarqueFold RH primary support carpet up, Rotate RH footrest panel out of vehicle

Disconnect side repeater cameras connector X870 at car computer
Remarque1x connector, Release red tab then disconnect

Raise and support the vehicle.

Remove RH front wheel center cap
Remarque1x cap

Loosen RH front wheel
Remarque5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm

Raise vehicle partially and lower onto locks
RemarqueSet vehicle to comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of the locks on both sides before lowering, otherwise vehicle may tilt to the side

Remove RH front wheel
Remarque5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm

Release rear portion of RH front fender garnish
Remarque3x clips, 2x tabs, Starting from the rear release garnish to access rocker

Remove rear portion of RH front wheel liner
Remarque7x clips, 1x fan clip, Carefully rest rear portion of wheel line on brake rotor

Disconnect RH front repeater

Release RH grommet from body
RemarqueWith a razor blade, carefully cut the electrical tape away exposing the rubber dust boot
-
Remove electrical tape securing harness bundle to rubber dust boot
-
Release the terminal 2 lock on the double connector side of coax overlay cable
RemarqueUsing the pin drag kit, carefully lift the hold down tab
-
Remove the double connector from the overlay coax cable
RemarqueUsing the pin drag kit, pull the coax away from the connector
-
Wrap the overlay coax cable with harness tape before installation
RemarqueUse Anti-abrasion tape and wrap the entire length of the coax cable to protect the cable for damage when it is installed the vehicle

Feed the previously removed coax terminal through the RH wheel liner and dust boot towards the interior cabin
RemarqueOnce the coax is exposed on the other side of the dust boot carefully pull till you have roughly 12 inches of cable towards the interior of the vehicle

Pull the RH coax over through the bulkhead and into the interior cabin
RemarquePull harness toward car behind car computer

Overlay the RH coax wire onto the harness and secure it to the car computer harness

Secure coax overlay through RH wheel liner and frunk harness

Depin the LH side coax cable (Terminal 2) from the connector X820
RemarqueVerify that you are removing the correct side (1 & 2, where 1 is the LH repeater and 2 is the RH repeater) Using MDLS drag pin tool set carefully lift the purple locking tab up and out of the connector housing

Remove the coax cable from the connector X820
RemarqueUsing the pin drag kit, carefully lift the hold down tab an simultaneously pull the coax away from the connector

Insert the connector locking tab and reconnect X820 together

Secure side repeater cameras connector X870 onto car computer

Cut off the vehicle side repeater coax terminal and tape to vehicle harness
RemarqueCut the coax connector only

Connect RH front repeater
Remarque2x connectors, Support repeater from exterior to prevent damage to retaining clips

Secure RH grommet onto body
RemarqueUse electrical tape to wrap the end of the dust boot

Secure rear portion of RH front wheel liner
Remarque4x clips

Secure rear portion of RH front fender garnish
Remarque3x clips, 2x tabs, Fully secure and carefully engage clips

Install RH front wheel
Remarque5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm, Start lug nuts by hand before using power tool

Lower vehicle until tires are touching ground
RemarqueRaise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered

Torque RH front wheel
Remarque5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm

Install RH front wheel center cap
Remarque1x cap, Verify emblem is aligned with valve stem

Install RH footrest panel
RemarqueRotate RH footrest panel onto vehicle, Fold RH primary support carpet down

Secure RH footrest panel
Remarque2x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, 2x nuts, 10mm, 5 Nm

Secure harness to RH footrest panel
Remarque1x clip

Fold RH main carpet back into place

Install RH footwell cover
Remarque3x magnets, 4x datums, 1x connector

Install RH lower A-pillar trim
Remarque1x bolt, T25, 5 Nm, 2x clips, 1x datum

Install RH mid A-pillar trim
Remarque2x clips, 3x datums, Verify weather seal is seated properly

Install RH IP end cap
Remarque3x clips

Install RH front door sill trim panel
Remarque8x clips, 3x datums, Verify seal is seated properly

Install RH console side carpet
Remarque11x clips, 2x datums

Install RH front floor mat
- Install the wiper module. See Module d’essuie-glace (retirez et remplacez).

Press brake pedal to turn on drive rails

Turn steering wheel back to center

Set air suspension ride height to “Medium”

Activate Service Mode using the touchscreen.

Unlock Gateway
RemarqueAfter vehicle has been put into "Service Mode", place keycard on center console to turn on drive rails, hold down the brake pedal, while keep pressing right hand signal button simultaneously for at least 10 seconds, "GTW UNLOCKING" should pop up on the UI right next to the VIN during these 10 seconds, once gateway is unlocked "GTW UNLOCKED 5400" will be displayed on the UI next to the VIN, the gateway will remain unlocked for 90 minutes, follow steps on Toolbox article #5582900 for any additional information

Reset DAS via Service UI
RemarqueIn Service mode navigate to Driver Assist > Cameras > Reset DAS

- Raise both front windows.
- Close the LH front door.
- Vehicle will need to be driven by customer to complete the calibration procedure. During this time DAS functions will be completely unavailable
