Retirer
- Open the LH front door and lower the front windows.
- Move the driver seat rearward.
- Remove the LH sun visor bezel A-pillar trim. See Garniture – montant avant – enjoliveur du pare-soleil – gauche (retrait et remplacement)

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH upper A-pillar trim to the vehicle.
TIpNous recommandons l’utilisation des outils suivants :
- Douille de 13 mm

Remove the screw that attaches the LH upper A-pillar trim to the vehicle.
TIpNous recommandons l’utilisation des outils suivants :
- Douille de 20 mm

Remove and discard the nut that attaches the LH upper A-pillar trim to the vehicle.
TIpNous recommandons l’utilisation des outils suivants :
- Douille de 10 mm
- Release the clips (x6) that attach the LH upper A-pillar trim to the A-pillar, and then move the trim aside to gain access to the headliner.

Remove the screw that attaches the LH front of the headliner to the vehicle.2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)TIpNous recommandons l’utilisation des outils suivants :
- Douille Torx T20
- Open the RH front door.
- Repeat step 2 through step 8 for the RH side of the vehicle.
- Release the clips (x4) that attach the front portion of headliner to the body, and then release the front edge of the headliner from the body.
- Disconnect the security body controller module electrical connector.

Remove the bolt that attaches the security body controller module to the vehicle.9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)RemarqueThe bolt is captive inside the controller housing and cannot be removed.TIpNous recommandons l’utilisation des outils suivants :

- Release the clip and guide pin that attach the security body controller module to the vehicle, and then remove the module from the vehicle.
Installer
- Position the security body controller module into the vehicle, and then secure the clip and guide pin that attach the module to the vehicle.

Install the bolt that attaches the security body controller module to the vehicle.9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)TIpNous recommandons l’utilisation des outils suivants :

- Connect the security body controller module electrical connector.
- Secure the clips (x4) that attach the front portion of headliner to the body.

Position the LH upper A-pillar trim to the A-pillar, and then secure the clips (x6) that attach the trim to the vehicle.
RemarqueAlign the datums into the instrument panel sub assembly.RemarqueRotate trim into position to full engage the clips.

- Move the front passenger seat to the original position.
- Close the RH front door.
- Repeat step 5 through step 11 for the RH side of the vehicle.

Touch the clock on the center display, or go to the Software tab, and then touch Install Now to start firmware update.
RemarqueSelect Install Now. Tap the countdown timer until the clock runs down to 0. Check the center display and ensure the firmware package was successfully installed.

Once firmware redeploy is complete, verify on the center display that the release notes are present.
RemarqueIf the redeploy fails you may receive an error message on the UI.

- Check the functionality of the programmed NFC keys.
- Raise the front windows and close the LH front door.
- Inform the customer that the new security body controller will not recognize any previously paired phone key. The customer must delete and re-pair their phone key to the vehicle, if they were previously using this feature. Instructions are available in the Owners Manual, and at the DIY web pages.
