  1. Raise and support vehicle

  2. Open LH front door
  3. Lower LH front window
  4. Open RH front door
  5. Lower RH front window
  6. Open hood
  7. Remove rear apron

    16x trim clips, 3x datums, 2x clips
  8. Remove HEPA filter assembly

    2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm, Pivot rear edge up past brake reservoir then lift up to clear frunk assembly
  9. Remove the cowl screen. See Cowl Screen (Remove and Replace).
  10. Remove air intake duct

    2x clips, 1x align pin, 1x bolt, 10mm, 4 Nm, Gently pry pin out from thermal beam then remove duct from bulkhead studs
  11. Move RH front seat backward
  12. Partially release RH front primary door seal

    For remove RH IP end cap, RH lower A pillar trim, RH front B pillar trim
  13. Remove RH IP end cap

  14. Remove RH lower A pillar trim

    7x clips, 4x guide tabs, 1x push clip, Pull rear of lower A-pillar upward to release clip then pull rearward to release front tabs from carpet
  15. Release front RH cabin carpet cover from RH knee air bag cover

  16. Remove RH knee air bag cover from IP carrier

    2x connector, 5x tabs, 1x datum, 4x bolts, E10, 8 Nm, Discard bolts after removal, Remove 4x fasteners before unlatching airbag cover assembly, carefully remove connector for light by pressing tab and pulling, for airbag use pick tool to unlock tabs and release connector.
  17. Remove console RH front side panel

    14x clips, 2x datums, Use finger hole to release panel located at top edge of front side panel, Pull bottom to release remaining clips, Use caution and pull panel straight away from console to avoid damage
  18. Remove RH front wheel trim

    5x spring clips, 1x center ring, Due to the limited space, Use plastic trim tool to release spring clips in sequence then remove wheel trim
  19. Loosen RH front wheel nuts

  20. Raise vehicle partially and lower lift onto locks

    Set vehicle to comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of the locks on both sides before lowering, Otherwise vehicle may tilt to the side
  21. Remove RH front wheel

  22. Remove RH front fender garnish

    1x screw, T30, 2 Nm, 11x clips, 1x tab, 1x datum, Release from front end of garnish and work your way outward towards rear ends, then release tab
  23. Release RH front wheel liner from vehicle and set aside

  24. Disconnect front main harness from RH side repeater camera

  25. Lower vehicle partially and set lift onto locks

    Raise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered, Set vehicle to comfortable working height
  26. Release windshield heater connecter

  28. Remove electrical tape securing harness bundle to rubber dust boot

    Use a razor blaze, carefully cut electrical tape away to expose rubber dust boot
  29. Remove locking pin from connector

    Carefully pry pin out of connector and fully remove locking pin
  30. Remove coax cable needed for the side repeater overlay MY terminal 2 (RHS)

    Inspect all components for damage
  31. Apply harness tape onto RH coax overlay cable before installation

    Use Anti-abrasion tape and wrap the entire length of the coax cable to protect the cable for damage when it is in the vehicle
  32. Position MY RH coax overlay cable into place, Place through RH wheel liner

    Pull till you have roughly 12 inches of cable towards the interior of the vehicle
  33. Pull RH coax overlay cable through RH grommet harness

  34. Tape coax overlay onto fish nylon tape
  35. Pull RH coax overlay cable through bulkhead and into interior cabin
  36. Remove nylon fish tape

    Remove tape the pull nylon fish tape out of vehicle
  37. Release side repeater cameras connector X870 from car computer

    1x connector, Release red tab before removing connector
  38. Remove locking pin from side repeater cameras connector

    Carefully pry pin out of connector and fully remove locking pin
  39. Remove MY coax terminal 2 (RHS) cable from connector

    Inspect all components for damage

Instalar

  1. Insert new side repeater coax terminal 2 (RHS) cable onto side repeater cameras connector

    Ensure both coax cables are fully seated into connector, Audible locking and flush mounting to confirm
  2. Secure locking pin to connector

    Align tabs of lock in connector housing, Ensure flush installation of locking pin to connector housing
  3. Install side repeater cameras connector x870 onto car computer

    1x connector
  4. Position MY RH coax overlay cable onto frunk main harness, Secure cable onto harness using zip ties

    5x zip-ties, Trim off excess material after harness has been secured
  5. Cut off the vehicle side repeater coax terminal and tape to vehicle harness

  6. Connect front main harness to RH side repeater camera

    2x connectors, Engage locking tabs
  7. Secure RH grommet from body

    Use electrical tape to wrap the end of the dust boot
  8. Secure RH front wheel liner onto vehicle

    4x clips, 2x tabs, 1x bolt, 10mm, 6 Nm, Route liner under garnish clips, Align studs then install clips
  9. Install RH front fender garnish

    1x screw, T30, 2 Nm, 11x clips, 1x tab, 1x datum, Start at rear and maneuver into rocker panel
  10. Install RH front wheel

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm, Start lug nuts by hand before using power tool
  11. Lower vehicle until tires are touching ground

    Raise lift off locks, Then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered
  12. Torque RH front wheel nuts

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm
  13. Install RH front wheel trim

    5x spring clips, 1x center ring, Align the valve stem, then slightly press the cap to engage the clips, Make sure the center ring is properly seated
  14. Install the cowl screen. See Cowl Screen (Remove and Replace).
  15. Install air intake duct

    2x clips, 1x align pin, 1x bolt, 10mm, 4 Nm, Position clips onto bulkhead studs then duct secure onto thermal bar
  16. Install HEPA filter assembly

    2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm, Pivot forward edge down past frunk assembly, Then carefully move rear edge past brake reservoir and into position, Gently press on RH side of filter to seat seal onto duct, Do not pinch washer hose inbetween HEPA filter assembly and body
  17. Install frunk onto vehicle

    4x clips, 3x tabs, 2x trim clips, Replace any clips if broken or missing, Ensure aero seal is positioned over frunk leading edge and not under leading edge
  18. Install frunk access panel

  19. Install rear apron

    16x trim clips, 3x locator pins, 2x clips, Replace any missing or damaged clips, Ensure pyrotechnic hood actuators are aligned with openings in apron
  20. Close hood
  21. Install console RH front side panel

    14x clips, 2x locating pins, Ensure all clips and pins seat propely
  22. Install RH knee air bag cover to IP carrier

    2x connector, 5x tabs, 1x location pin, 4x bolts, E10, 8 Nm, Install new bolts, After reconnecting 2x harness assure 5x datum's and location pin align prior to re-attaching air bag cover assembly, insert 4x e10 bolts to secure air bag assembly after re-attachment
  23. Secure front RH cabin carpet cover to RH knee air bag cover

  24. Install RH lower A pillar trim

    7x clips, 4x guide tabs, 1x push clip, Align front guide tabs then align slot with harness bracket and then push rear clip to secure, Make sure all clips and tabs fully seated
  25. Install RH IP end cap

    5x clips, 2x guide tabs, Pull the seal over end cap
  26. Install RH front primary door seal

    Verify seal is seated properly on all trim panels
  27. Move RH front seat to original position
  28. Raise RH front window
  29. Close RH front door
  30. Verify operation of windshield washers and wipers
  31. Clear DAS Calibration through UI

    Controls > Service > Camera Calibration, Select Clear Calibration, Verify calibration was cleared successfully, Wait for prompt to disappear automatically before continuing, Calibration in Progress message and progress icon will appear during the next drive cycle
