1. Raise and support vehicle
   Nota

   Ensure vehicle is not charging, Remove charging cable if it's plugged in

   

   

   

2. Open LH front door

   

3. Lower LH front window

   

4. Open hood

   

   

5. Remove rear apron
   Nota

   16x trim clips, 3x datums, 2x clips

   

   

   

   

6. Remove HEPA filter assembly
   Nota

   2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm, Pivot rear edge up past brake reservoir then lift up to clear frunk assembly

   

   

   

   

7. Remove frunk access panel
   Nota

   3x clips, 3x tabs, 1x connector

   

   

8. Remove bolts securing frunk to vehicle
   Nota

   4x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm

   

9. Remove frunk from vehicle
   Nota

   4x clips, 3x tabs, 2x trim clips, Replace any clips if broken or missing

   

   

   

   

10. Power off vehicle from center display
    Nota

    Via Controls > Safety > Power off, Select "Power Off" button at warning dialogue box

    

    

11. Disconnect LV battery and first responder loop
    Nota

    2x connectors, Release green locking tab, Press black tab then pull black connector lock outwards to release connection, Release red lock tab on FRL, Allow 2 minutes for all electrical circuits to fully discharge

    

    

    

    

    

12. Place absorbent material underneath brake lines and brake fluid reservoir to catch any fluid lost

    

13. Clean area around brake fluid reservoir and remove brake reservoir cap

    

14. Remove brake fluid from brake reservoir
    Nota

    Install absorbent cloth or rag underneath brake fluid reservoir

    

15. Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks
    Nota

    Set vehicle to comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of locks on both sides before lowering, Otherwise vehicle may tilt to side

    

    

16. Remove front aero shield
    Nota

    2x nuts, 15mm, 8 Nm

    

    

    

17. Remove RCU lower fastener
    Nota

    1x bolt, 10mm, 10 Nm

    

18. Lower vehicle until tires are touching ground
    Nota

    Raise lift off locks, Then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered

    

    

    

19. Remove retaining clips securing AC compressor HV harness to shock tower support brace
    Nota

    5x retaining clips, Pull upward on clip to assist with removal, Do not pull on HV cable, Discard damaged clips

    

20. Remove bolts securing shock tower brace to shock tower
    Nota

    4x bolts, 15mm, 55 Nm, 2x bolts, 62 Nm, See image for torque location

    

21. Support the LH side of the shock tower brace
    Nota

    1x airbag, Use assistance if needed

    

22. Release brake fluid reservoir return line
    Nota

    1x locking clip, depress the two sides and pull upwards, there will be minimal excess brake fluid that will be released

    

23. Release master cylinder secondary pipe from RCU
    Nota

    1x nut, 12mm, 16 Nm

    

24. Remove master cylinder primary pine from RCU
    Nota

    1x nut, 12mm, 16 Nm

    

25. Remove brake lines to front calipers
    Nota

    2x nuts, 12mm, 16 Nm

    

26. Disconnect RCU ecu
    Nota

    1x locking tab, 1x lever, lift locking tab up and lever down

    

27. Remove upper fastener from RCU
    Nota

    1x bolt, 10mm, 10 Nm

    

28. Remove RCU
    Nota

    2x guide datums

    

29. Install RCU
    Nota

    2x guide datums, hand start the upper 10mm to hold in position

    

    

30. Secure upper fastener to RCU
    Nota

    1x bolt, 10 mm, 10 Nm

    

31. Connect RCU ecu
    Nota

    Fully mount connector and lift lever up to secure, 1x locking tab

    

32. Install master cylinder pipe to RCU
    Nota

    1x nut, 12mm, 16 Nm

    

33. Install secondary cylinder pipe to RCU
    Nota

    1x nut, 12mm, 16 Nm

    

34. Install front caliper brake lines to RCU
    Nota

    2x nuts, 12mm, 16 Nm, Hand start first to prevent cross threading

    

35. Install brake fluid reservoir return line
    Nota

    1x locking tab, perform a push pull test to ensure it is fully engaged

    

36. Loosely Install bolts securing shock tower brace to shock tower
    Nota

    4x bolts, 15mm, 55 Nm, 2x bolts, 62 Nm, See image for torque location

    

37. Torque bolts securing shock tower brace to shock tower
    Nota

    4x bolts, 15mm, 55 Nm, 2x bolts, 62 Nm, See image for torque location

    

38. Connect first responder loop and LV battery
    Nota

    2x connectors, Secure FRL first, Seat LV battery connection and push black connector lock inwards to secure, Engage green locking tab when fully seated

46. Loosen RH front wheel nuts

47. Remove LH rear wheel cap

58. Run RCU Calibrate Pedal Travel Sensor

59. Run RCU Calibrate Pressure Sensor

    Select Chassis > Procedures > RCU Post Replacement > RCU Calibrate Pressure Sensor, click Run,

    

60. Fill brake bleeder reservoir to full level

    

61. Top off brake fluid reservoir
    Nota

    Top off brake fluid as needed

    

62. Install pressure bleeder adapter onto reservoir

    

63. Setup brake bleeder
    Nota

    Connect power supply to bleeder and turn on the power to set pressure to 30 psi, Attach the brake reservoir hose to the brake adapter at this time

    

    

64. Remove LH front caliper inner bleed valve cover then install fluid catcher
    Nota

    1x cover

    

    

65. PLACEHOLDER, Run Manual Caliper Bleed
    Nota

    Select Chassis > Procedures > RCU Post Replacement >Manual Caliper Bleed

    

66. Ejecutar la rutina ODIN
67. Remove fluid catcher and torque LH front caliper bleed valve

    1x bleed valve, 11mm, 18.5 Nm, 1x cover, Install cover when torqued

    

    

68. Remove RH front caliper inner bleed valve cover then install fluid catcher

71. Turn off and remove pressure brake bleeder kit from vehicle

    

    

72. Check brake fluid level

    Top off if necessary

    

73. Install service brake reservoir cap

    

    

74. Remove absorbent material from underneath brake booster assembly and reservoir area

    

75. Bleed Internal Circuits
    Nota

    Select Chassis > Procedures > RCU Post Replacement > Bleed Internal Circuit-s

    

    

76. Perform RCU Corner Stiffness Test
    Nota

    Select Chassis > Procedures > RCU Post Replacement > Corner Stiffness Test, click Run, follow on screen instructions

    

    

    

77. Perform RCU Valve Test
    Nota

    Select Chassis > Procedures > RCU Post Replacement > Valve Test, click Run, follow on screen instructions

    

    

78. Disconnect Toolbox 3 from vehicle and remove laptop and Diagnostics Adapter Ethernet Harness
    Nota

    If RJ45 ethernet diagnostic connector present media converter box not required disconnect directly from laptop using an RJ45 Ethernet cable or from OBDII connection

80. Pump brake pedal a few times to ensure brake pedal feels normal

82. Install LH front wheel

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm, Start lug nuts by hand before using power tool

84. Install RH front wheel
    Nota

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm, Start lug nuts by hand before using power tool

86. Lower vehicle until tires are touching ground

88. Install LH front wheel cap

    1x cap, Align valve stem with wheel cap cavity, Wheels may be equipped with different caps

    

89. Torque RH front wheel nuts

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm

    

90. Install RH front wheel cap
    Nota

    1x cap, Align valve stem with wheel cap cavity, Wheels may be equipped with different caps

    

91. Torque LH rear wheel nuts

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm

    

92. Install LH rear wheel cap

    7x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, Apply Loctite 222 onto front aero shield bolts and install fasteners to front aero shield

    

    

98. Lower vehicle fully
    Nota

    Raise lift off locks, Then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered

    

    

    

99. Install frunk to vehicle
    Nota

    4x clips, 3x tabs, 2x trim clips, Replace any clips if broken or missing

    

    

    

    

100. Install bolts securing frunk to vehicle
     Nota

     4x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm

     

101. Install frunk access panel
     Nota

     3x clips, 3x tabs, 1x connector

     

     

102. Install HEPA filter assembly
     Nota

     2x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm, Pivot forward edge down past frunk assembly, Then carefully move rear edge past brake reservoir and into position, Gently press on RH side of filter to seat seal onto duct

     

     

     

     

103. Install rear apron
     Nota

     16x trim clips, 3x locator pins, 2x clips, Replace any missing or damaged clips, Ensure pyrotechnic hood actuators are aligned with openings in apron

     

     

     

104. Close hood

     

     

105. Raise LH front window

     

106. Close LH front door

     

107. Remove vehicle from lift
     Nota

     Lower rack arms fully and remove from under vehicle

     

108. Perform a road test
     Nota

     Ensure proper brake pedal feel and performance Add correction code 00040100 as needed
