Retirar

  1. Remove the 2nd row LH seat assembly. See Conjunto de asiento - 2.ª fila - Lado izquierdo (7 plazas) (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  2. Remove the 2nd row 60 seatback assembly toe kick panel.

    7x clips. Pry up on LH side of 60 toe kick cover to release the clips. Repeat on RH side to fully remove.
  3. Release the 60 seat side shield.

    2x push clip, 1x hook, 1x connector. Once push clip is removed, lift up and out on the 60 seat side shield to release it. Use caution when releasing the side shield as seat fold switch harness is short.
  4. Remove the center back panel from the 2nd row center seatback.

    5x clips, 2 hooks. Lift up at the lower 20 back panel and then slide forward to release.
  5. Remove the 2nd row 60 seatback panel.

    9x clips, 2x hooks. Release the clips starting at the top of the back panel working your way down the lower back panel. Pull 60 back panel towards the front of the vehicle to remove it.
  6. Remove the center seatback lumbar bun fastener.

    1x screw, T20, 1.5 Nm
  7. Remove the center seatback lumbar bun.

    2x clips. Pull bolster outwards to release it.
  8. Remove the center seatback pivot clamps.

    2x bolts, T40, 22 Nm. Once fasteners are removed, slide the pivot clamp towards the center of the center seatback and pull each outwards to remove.
  9. Manually release the center seatback latch.

    Use a small screwdriver to manipulate the center seatback latch to release.
  10. Remove the center seatback from the 60 seat frame.

    Remove center seatback by lifting it upwards.
  11. Release the 2nd row 60 seat harness connectors and unclip them from the seat frame.

    6x clip, 5x connectors.
  12. Release the clips and remove the inboard outer trim from the 2nd row 60 seat cushion assembly.

    3x clips. Use a trim tool to unclip the three clips and remove the inboard outer trim towards the rear of the vehicle.
  13. Remove the push clips for the 2nd row 60 bottom seat pan.

    2x clips. Remove push clips from the front of the seat pan.
  14. Remove the fasteners that attach the 60 seat pan to the seat frame.

    4x fastener, 3x 10mm, 6 Nm, 1x T25, 1.5 Nm, 1x clip. Remove remaining bolts attaching the seat pan to the seat frame.
  15. Remove the headrest from the 2nd row 60 seatback assembly.

    Simultaneously depress the guide button and insert a 90 degree pick into the guide opening. Lift up while engaged.
  16. Remove the headrest guides from the 2nd row 60 seatback assembly.

    Pull back on the lower portion of the headrest guide to release the tab while also applying upward force to remove the headrest guides.
  17. Release the harness from the 2nd row 60 seatback.

    3x connectors, 3x clips.
  18. Remove the 2nd row 60 seatback assembly.

    4x clips. Release the clips that attach the 60 seatback and lift upwards. The seat belt will be removed in a later step.
  19. Slightly lift the 60 seat cushion pan upward.

    Lift 60 seat cushion upward but do not fully remove it at this time.
  20. Disconnect the seat cables from the floor latch and easy entry actuators on the 60 seat.

  21. Remove the 2nd row 60 seat cushion assembly.

    Remove seat bottom by lifting the rear first and removing it towards the front of the seat.
  22. Remove the 2nd row center seat belt anchor.

    1x bolt, T50, 40 Nm. Discard the bolt after removal.
  23. Remove the 2nd row center seat belt guide.

  24. Remove the 2nd row center seat belt from the 2nd row 60 seatback assembly.

    Pass the seat belt through the opening.
  25. Put the 2nd row 60 seatback assembly on a suitable working surface.

    Avoid damage to the seat cover.
  26. Remove the easy-entry switch.

  27. Release the 2nd row 60 seatback cover.

    16x tabs. Pull material downward to release it.
  28. Remove the seatback cover from the foam.

    3x hogring. Hook & loop the attachment around the perimeter. Cut hogrings, clean debris. If 40/60 seat that is not being repaired does not have ISOFIX flag for child seats, the seat covers will also require replacement.

Instalar

  1. Install the seatback cover onto the foam.

    16x hooks. Pull the material downward to attach it. Make sure that the material is distributed evenly on the visible side.
  2. Secure 2nd row 60 seatback cover

  3. Install the easy-entry switch.

    2x tabs, 1x connector.
  4. Install the 2nd row center seat belt to the 2nd row 60 seatback assembly.

    Pass the seat belt through the opening.
  5. Install the 2nd row center seat belt guide.

    2x clips, 2x datums.
  6. Install a new bolt that attaches the 2nd row center seat belt anchor.
    40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)
  7. Connect the seat cables from the floor latch and easy entry actuators onto the 60 seat.

  8. Put the 60 seat pan onto the seat frame.

    Reinstall the seat bottom onto the seat frame by starting at the rear of the seat.
  9. Install the 60 seat pan.

    2x clips. Push the front of the seat cushion back into place and install the clips.
  10. Install the fasteners that attach the 60 seat pan to the seat frame.

    4x fasteners, 3x 10mm, 6 Nm, 1x T25, 1.5 Nm, 1x clip.
  11. Install the 2nd row 60 seatback.

    4x clips. Slide seatback into position and make sure that the bottom retainers slide into place. Reinstall the push clips to attach the seatback.
  12. Install the headrest guides into the 60 seat assembly.

    Install the headrest guides by pressing them downwards until the lower tab is seated.
  13. Install the headrest onto the 60 seat assembly.
  14. Install the harness onto the 2nd row 60 seatback.

    3x connectors, 3x clips.
  15. Install the center seatback pivot clamps.

    2x bolts, T40, 22 Nm. Insert the pivot clamp at the center of the center frame and slide it outwards to install the bolts. When replacing pivot clamps, they must be replaced in pairs.
  16. Install the center seatback lumbar bun.

    2x clips. Press seatback lumbar bun into the center frame.
  17. Install the inboard outer trim to the 60 seat.

    3x clips. Install inboard outer trim and reseat the clips.
  18. Install the 60 seat side shield.

    2x push clips, 1x hook, 1x connector, . Lift up on the front of the side shield and seat the hook into the seat cushion assembly.
  19. Install the center seatback lumbar bun fastener.

    1x screw, T20, 1.5 Nm.
  20. Insert the back panel hooks into the center seatback assembly.

    2x hooks. Engage the hooks and slide rearward into position. Early production vehicles may have 4x hooks.
  21. Insert the back panel hooks into the 60 seatback assembly.

  22. Install the 60 seatback panel onto the seatback.

    9x clips. Install the back panel clips to the seatback frame starting at the lower back panel, working your way up towards the upper back panel.
  23. Install the 60 seat toe kick cover.

  24. Install the 2nd row 60 seat harness connectors and clip them onto the seat frame.

    6x clip, 5x connectors.
  25. Install the 2nd row 60 seat assembly. See Conjunto de asiento - 2.ª fila - Lado izquierdo (7 plazas) (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  26. Enable Service Mode. See Modo de servicio.
  27. Unlock the vehicle Gateway. See Puerta de enlace (Desbloquear).
