Function check LH front door (exterior)
NotaInspect and note functionality for the door handle operation and full range of motion of the door, From outside look for interference with brightwork and door to body, Note noises such as creaks, groans and clicks, pauses or incomplete actions

Function check LH front door (interior)
NotaInspect and note functionality for the interior door release, puddle lamps, and manual release cable, From inside look for interference with other components, noises such as creaks, groans and clicks, pauses or incomplete actions

Function check all windows from master switch
NotaDocument any abnormal operation/noises

Function check wipers and spray jets
NotaEnsure hood and doors are closed prior to activating wipers, Inspect and note functionality for wipers and wiper jets, Check for full range of motion, speed of motion, interference with other components, noises such as creaks, groans and clicks, pauses or incomplete actions

Function check all driver controls
NotaShift stalk, turn signals, steering wheel scroll wheels, horns

Function check steering column through UI
NotaMove the column to its extreme position in each direction using steering wheel buttons, Return to original position

Function check the exterior lights

Nota14x clips, Hold rear wall of frunk to keep from flexing while engaging front clips

Close hood

Raise and support vehicle
Notaremove charging equipment

Raise vehicle partially and lower lift onto locks
NotaSet vehicle to comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of the locks on both sides before lowering, Otherwise vehicle may tilt to the side

Check all four tire pressures manually
Nota4x tires, 4x caps, Set to specification if necessary, Refer to the "Tire and Loading Information" label located on the driver side B-pillar, Inspect wheels and tires for any bulges or damage while checking/setting pressures

Record tread depth for LH front tire
NotaMeasure and record the outer, center, and inner tread depths, Measure the circumferential tire grooves only, Do not place the tire tread gauge probe on the molded treadwear indicators, Recommend replacement if tread depth is 4/32in (3mm) or less

Record tread depth for RH front tire
NotaMeasure and record the outer, center, and inner tread depths, Measure the circumferential tire grooves only, Do not place the tire tread gauge probe on the molded treadwear indicators, Recommend replacement if tread depth is 4/32in (3mm) or less

Inspect LH front brake rotor condition

Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks
NotaSet vehicle to comfortable working height, Ensure an audible click of locks on both sides is heard before lowering, Vehicle may tilt to the side if both locks are not engaged

Remove bolts securing front aero shield
Nota7x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm

Remove front aero shield from studs
Nota2x nuts, 15mm, 8 Nm
-
Remove rear aero shield clips
Nota2x clips, One clip on LH side wheel liner, One clip on RH side wheel liner
-
Remove rear aero shield
Nota11x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm
-
Remove LH rear suspension cover
Nota1x bolt, 10mm, 6 Nm, 2x tabs
-
Remove RH rear suspension cover
Nota1x bolt, 10mm, 6 Nm, 2x tabs
-
Perform visual inspection of HV battery enclosure
NotaCheck for any dents, scrapes, or other damage
-
Inspect underside of vehicle for fluid leaks
-
Perform inspection of steering components
NotaCheck steering gear joints, fasteners, and electrical connections, Verify components are not bent or damaged

Perform inspection of front suspension components
NotaCheck conditions of ball joints and bushings, etc, Inspect for any loose fasteners, Carefully apply pressure with a pry bar as needed

Perform inspection of rear suspension components
NotaCheck conditions of ball joints and bushings, etc, Inspect for any loose fasteners, Carefully apply pressure with a pry bar as needed

Install RH rear suspension cover
Nota1x bolt, 10mm, 6 Nm, 2x tabs

Install LH rear suspension cover
Nota1x bolt, 10mm, 6 Nm, 2x tabs

Install rear aero shield
Nota11x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, Apply Loctite 222 onto rear aero shield bolts before installing

Install rear aero shield
Nota2x clips, One clip on LH side wheel liner, One clip on RH side wheel liner
-
Position front aero shield onto vehicle and secure with two nuts
Nota2x nuts, 15mm, 8 Nm, Hand-tighten the nuts to temporarily hold the panel in place

Install front aero shield bolts
Nota7x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, Apply Loctite 222 onto bolts before installing
-
Lower vehicle until tires are touching ground
NotaRaise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered

Raise all four windows
-
Close all four doors
-
Perform a road test using a series of ABS-active stops and ensure proper brake pedal feel and performance
NotaThe vehicle must stop completely within 25 feet (7.6 meters) at 20 mph (32 kph), Confirm that no excessive vibration or noise is present

Inspect vehicles alignment
NotaConfirm steering wheel is straight and no vibrations or noises are felt or heard from the suspension, On a flat road, at 35 mph (56 kph), the vehicle does not pull in either direction
