TXV Valve - Heat Exchanger

Correction code 18033402

Remove

  1. Recover the A/C refrigerant.
  2. Remove RH rear wheel arch liner (refer to procedure).
  3. Disconnect refrigerant pipes from TXV.

    CAUTION
    Plug pipe connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
  4. Remove bolts (x2) securing TXV to heat exchanger pipe bracket (torque 10 Nm). Remove bracket.
  5. Remove TXV from heat exchanger.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

  1. Replace A/C pipe O-rings.
  2. Replace heat exchanger pipe O-rings.
