Door Glass - LH - Adjust

Check

  1. Install roof and fully raise door glass.

    Note
    Additional adjustment of the door glass may be required when changing between roof types.
  2. Check the alignment of the door glass against the seal on the cant rail and up the 'A' and B-pillars.

    Note
    The glass should lightly compress the seal around its circumference; without damaging the seal or imposing a load on the window mechanism.

Adjust

  1. Remove door trim panel (refer to procedure).
  2. Remove and discard door curtain.
  3. To move the door glass and adjust seal compression, loosen the nuts (x2) securing the door glass to window regulator. Adjust position of the door glass as necessary and tighten nuts.

    Note
    The forward door glass window regulator mounting is slotted to allow for adjustment.
  4. Check the door glass inward/outward alignment and seal compression.
  5. To adjust the door glass inward/outward alignment and seal compression, rotate the adjusters at the bottom of each guide rail in or out as necessary.
  6. Open and close door and lower/raise door glass fully. Check alignment of door glass and adjust if required.
  7. Install and secure new door curtain to door with double sided tape.
