Wishbone Assembly - Front - Upper - LH

Correction code 31012302

Remove

  1. Raise and support vehicle.

    Do not work on an incorrectly supported vehicle.

  2. Remove the wheel (torque 105 Nm).
  3. Remove Nyloc nut securing tie rod end to steering arm (torque 30 Nm).
  4. Using suitable tool release track rod end from steering arm.
  5. Remove nut securing brake hose to upper wishbone (torque 9 Nm).
  6. Remove Nyloc nut securing wishbone to steering arm (torque 55 Nm).
  7. Using suitable tool release wishbone from steering arm.
  8. Remove Nyloc nuts (x2) and pivot bolts (x2) securing wishbone to chassis and collect washers (torque 45 Nm).

    Note
    Always record quantity and fitted position of shims, washers, locktabs or clips.
  9. Remove wishbone.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

CAUTION
Only tighten wishbone pivot bolts when the suspension is in ride height position. This can be achieved by either using the ride height tools or when the vehicle is on its wheels.

Replace all nyloc nuts.

  1. Perform a wheel alignment.
