Coolant Hose - Manifold to Pump

Remove

  1. Raise vehicle on 2 post lift (refer to procedure).
  2. Remove RH forward wheel arch liner (refer to procedure).
  3. Position container to collect coolant.
  4. Release clamps securing feed and return hoses to coolant manifold.
  5. Disconnect hoses from manifold and allow coolant to drain.
  6. Release clamp securing hose to coolant reservoir and disconnect hose from reservoir.
  7. Use side cutters or a rotary tool, such as a Dremel, to remove and discard clamp securing APS hose to coolant hose. Disconnect APS hose from coolant hose.
  8. Release clamp securing hose to coolant pump and disconnect hose from pump.
  9. Maneuver coolant hose between battery and subframe to remove from vehicle.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

  1. Refill and bleed cooling system (refer to procedure).
