Pipe - Low Pressure - Manifold to Compressor - Roadster 1.5

Correction code 18031902

Remove

  1. Remove receiver drier (refer to procedure).
  2. Remove insulation pad.
  3. Loosen the manifold to compressor pipe union at the low pressure manifold (torque 35 Nm). Disconnect pipe.
    CAUTION
    To prevent damage always use a suitable wrench to hold backing nut when loosening pipes and unions.
    CAUTION
    Plug pipe connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
  4. Loosen the low pressure manifold to compressor pipe union at the compressor (torque 35 Nm). Remove pipe from compressor.
    CAUTION
    Plug pipe connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
    CAUTION
    To prevent damage always use a suitable wrench to hold backing nut when loosening pipes and unions.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

  1. Replace A/C pipe O-rings.
