Wishbone Assembly - Rear - Lower - RH

Correction code 31031202

Remove

  1. Raise vehicle on 2 post on lift (refer to procedure).
  2. Remove the wheel(s) (torque -105 Nm).
  3. Remove bolts (x5) securing rear undershield to body (torque 8 Nm).
  4. Remove nut securing brake hose p-clip to wishbone and release P-clip (torque 10 Nm).
  5. Remove damper fixing from wishbone (nut and bolt) (torque 45 Nm).
  6. Remove nut securing sway bar link to wishbone and release link (torque 45 Nm).
  7. Remove nut securing wishbone ball joint to upright (torque 55 Nm).
  8. Release wishbone ball joint from upright using suitable equipment.
  9. Remove nuts and pivot bolt (x2) securing wishbone to subframe (torque - long bolt 50 Nm, short bolt 45 Nm).
  10. Release wishbone from damper and remove from vehicle.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

CAUTION
Only tighten wishbone pivot bolts when the suspension is in ride height position. This can be achieved by either using the ride height tools or when the vehicle is on its wheels.
  1. Carry out geometry check.
