Hinge - Door - LH

Correction code 10151002

Remove

  1. Remove the front upper wheel arch liner (refer to procedure).
  2. Remove bolts (x3) securing upper fender bracket to fender and body.
  3. Release adhesive securing cover to hinge and remove cover.
  4. Release grommet securing door harness to body and withdraw harness from body.
  5. Disconnect door harness connectors (x2).
  6. Support weight of door. Remove bolts (x4) securing hinge to body and remove door assembly (torque 25 Nm).

    Note
    Always record quantity and fitted position of shims, washers, locktabs or clips.
  7. Support door assembly for access to door hinge.
  8. Remove nuts and bolts (x2) securing check strap spring plate to door hinge. Remove check strap spring plate, support and follower.
  9. Remove upper bolt securing hinge to door beam (torque 45 Nm).
  10. Remove lower bolt securing hinge to door beam and remove door hinge (torque 45 Nm).
  11. Remove door stop buffer strip from hinge.
  12. Remove door hinge bearings.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
