  1. Open the LH front door.
  2. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Unidad de almacenamiento del vano del motor (Desinstalación e instalación).
  3. Remove the wiper module. See Módulo del limpiaparabrisas (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  4. Remove LH front floor mat
  5. Remove LH IP end cap

  26. Disconnect side repeater cameras connector X870 at car computer

  27. Raise and support the vehicle.
  28. Remove the LH front wheel center cap.
  29. Loosen LH front wheel

  30. Raise vehicle partially and lower onto locks

    Set vehicle to comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of the locks on both sides before lowering, otherwise vehicle may tilt to the side
  31. Remove the LH front wheel.
  32. Release rear portion of LH front fender garnish

    3x clips, 2x tabs, Starting from the rear release garnish to access rocker
  33. Release clips securing rear portion of the LH front wheel house liner and remove from vehicle

  34. Disconnect LH front repeater

  35. Release LH grommet from body

    With a razor blade, carefully cut the electrical tape away exposing the rubber dust boot
  36. Remove electrical tape securing harness bundle to rubber dust boot
  37. Release the terminal 1 lock on the double connector side of coax overlay cable

    Using the pin drag kit, carefully lift the hold down tab
  38. Remove the double connector from the overlay coax cable

    Using the pin drag kit, pull the coax away from the connector
  39. Wrap the overlay coax cable with harness tape before installation

    Use Anti-abrasion tape and wrap the entire length of the coax cable to protect the cable for damage when it is installed the vehicle
  40. Feed the previously removed coax terminal through the LH wheel liner and dust boot towards the interior cabin

    Once the coax is exposed on the other side of the dust boot carefully pull till you have roughly 12 inches of cable towards the interior of the vehicle
  41. Pull the LH coax over through the bulkhead and into the interior cabin

    Pull harness toward car computer under dashboard
  42. Overlay the LH coax wire onto the body harness and secure it to the main dash harness

  43. Secure coax overlay through LH wheel liner and frunk harness

  44. Depin the LH side coax cable (Terminal 1) from the connector X820

    Verify that you are removing the correct side (1 & 2, where 1 is the LH repeater and 2 is the RH repeater) Using MDLS drag pin tool set carefully lift the purple locking tab up and out of the connector housing
  45. Remove the coax cable from the connector X820

    Using the pin drag kit, carefully lift the hold down tab an simultaneously pull the coax away from the connector
  46. Insert the connector locking tab and reconnect X820 together

  48. Cut off the vehicle side repeater coax terminal and tape to vehicle harness

  50. Secure LH grommet onto body

  51. Install LH front wheel house liner and secure rear portion of the wheel house liner to the body

  53. Install the LH front wheel.
  54. Lower vehicle until tires are touching ground

    Raise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered
  55. Torque the LH front wheel lug nuts.
  56. Install the LH front wheel center cap.
  57. Fold LH main carpet back into place

  79. Press brake pedal to turn on drive rails
  80. Turn steering wheel back to center
  81. Set air suspension ride height to “Medium”

    After vehicle has been put into "Service Mode", place keycard on center console to turn on drive rails, hold down the brake pedal, while keep pressing right hand signal button simultaneously for at least 10 seconds, "GTW UNLOCKING" should pop up on the UI right next to the VIN during these 10 seconds, once gateway is unlocked "GTW UNLOCKED 5400" will be displayed on the UI next to the VIN, the gateway will remain unlocked for 90 minutes, follow steps on Toolbox article #5582900 for any additional information
  84. Reset DAS via Service UI

  88. Vehicle will need to be driven by customer to complete the calibration procedure. During this time DAS functions will be completely unavailable
