1. Open the LH front door.
2. Lower the LH front window.
3. Activate Service Mode using the touchscreen.

   

   

4. Press brake pedal to turn on drive rails

   

5. Set air suspension ride height to “Very High”
   Nota

   Via center display > Controls > Suspension > ''Very High''

   

6. Turn steering wheel fully to the right

   

7. Open the hood.

   

8. Remove the rear underhood apron.

   

   

9. Remove the LH underhood apron.

   

   

   

   

10. Remove the RH underhood apron.

    

    

    

    

11. Remove the front underhood apron.

    

    

12. Remove the underhood storage unit access panel.

    

    

13. Remove the underhood storage unit carpet.

    

    

14. Remove the underhood storage unit from the vehicle.

    

    

15. Remove bolts securing upper portion of front fascia
    Nota

    6x bolts, 10mm, 7 Nm

    

16. Remove fasteners securing LH front wheel liner to valence
    Nota

    1x bolt, T30, 1.5 Nm, 3x clips, Move front portion of wheel liner backwards to access fairing

    

    

    

17. Remove LH front wheel fairing from valence
    Nota

    2x bolts, 10mm, 1.5 Nm, 1x securing tab

    

18. Partially remove front portion of LH front fender garnish
    Nota

    2x clips, 8x tabs, Careful to not damage dummy ultra sonic sensor when removing garnish

    

    

19. Remove bolt securing LH front of fascia to LH front fender
    Nota

    1x bolt, 8mm, 1.5 Nm

    

20. Press brake pedal to turn on drive rails

    

21. Turn steering wheel fully to the left

    

22. Remove clips securing RH front wheel liner to valence
    Nota

    4x clips, Move front portion of wheel liner backwards to access fairing

    

    

23. Remove RH front wheel fairing from valence
    Nota

    2x bolts, 10mm, 1.5 Nm, 1x securing tab

    

24. Partially remove front portion of RH front fender garnish
    Nota

    2x clips, 8x tabs, Careful to not damage dummy ultra sonic sensor when removing garnish

    

    

25. Remove bolt securing RH front of fascia to RH front fender
    Nota

    1x bolt, 8mm, 1.5 Nm

    

26. Power off the vehicle using the touchscreen.

    

27. Disconnect the LV battery connector and First Responder Loop.

    

    

    

28. Remove fasteners securing lower portion of front fascia to valence
    Nota

    3x bolts, 10mm, 3 Nm, 2x clips

    

    

    

    

29. Apply masking tape to protect LH and RH front fenders

    

    

30. Disconnect front fascia assembly
    Nota

    1x connectors, Release locking tabs then disconnect

    

    

    

31. Remove front fascia assembly from vehicle
    Nota

    Recommend assistance, Release fascia from LH and RH fender brackets, Careful not to damage the fender bracket when removing fascia, Place on protected surface to avoid damage

    

    

    

32. Disconnect active grille shutter actuator
    Nota

    1x connector, Release locking tab

    

33. Disconnect ambient air sensor and push grommet through front end carrier
    Nota

    1x connector, 1x grommet

    

    

34. Remove ambient temperature sensor from active grill shutter assembly
    Nota

    1x clip, Squeeze retaining arms on clip and remove downward

    

    

    

    

35. Release locking tabs securing active grille shutter to cooling fan module assembly and remove active grille shutter through front of vehicle
    Nota

    12x locking tabs, 2x clips

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

36. Remove plastic grille from the radiator
    Nota

    9x locking tabs

    

    

    

37. Use shop-vac to clean dirt on the radiator
    Nota

    If necessary removeal large debris

    

38. Use blow gun to clean dirt on the radiator again
    Nota

    Do not get too close to the radiator blades

    

39. Install plastic grille to the radiator
    Nota

    9x locking tabs

    

    

    

40. Install active grille shutter to cooling fan module assembly
    Nota

    12x locking tabs, 2x clips, Align datums before engaging tabs, Make sure shutter slides inside tab not outside

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

41. Install ambient temperature sensor into active grill shutter assembly
    Nota

    1x clip, 1x datum, Align datum with opening in active grill shutter assembly

    

    

    

42. Connect ambient air sensor and secure grommet onto active grille shutter
    Nota

    1x connector, 1x grommet

    

    

43. Connect active grille shutter actuator
    Nota

    1x connector, Engage locking tab

    

44. Connect front fascia harness onto frunk harness
    Nota

    1x connectors, Engage locking tab, Located behind RH wheel arch liner

    

    

    

45. Install front fascia onto vehicle
    Nota

    Recommend assistance, Slide LH and RH side of fascia into fenders, Careful not to damage the fender bracket when installing fascia

    

    

    

46. Install fasteners securing lower portion of front fascia to valence
    Nota

    3x bolts, 10mm, 3 Nm, 2x clips

    

    

    

    

47. Remove masking tape from front fenders

    

    

48. Install bolt securing fascia to RH fender bracket
    Nota

    1x bolt, 8mm, 5 Nm

    

49. Install RH front fender garnish
    Nota

    2x clips, 8x tabs, Secure from top to bottom of front bumper

    

    

    

50. Install RH front wheel fairing to valence
    Nota

    2x bolts, 10mm, 1.5 Nm

    

51. Install push clips securing RH front wheel liner onto fascia
    Nota

    4x clips

    

    

52. Connect the First Responder Loop and LV battery connector.

    

    

53. Press brake pedal to turn on drive rails

    

54. Turn steering wheel fully to the right

    

55. Install bolt securing fascia onto LH fender bracket
    Nota

    1x bolt, 8mm, 5 Nm

    

56. Install LH front fender garnish
    Nota

    2x clips, 8x tabs, Secure from top to bottom of front bumper

    

    

    

57. Install LH front wheel fairing to valence
    Nota

    2x bolts, 10mm, 1.5 Nm, 1x securing tab

    

58. Install fasteners securing LH front wheel liner to valence
    Nota

    1x bolt, T30, 1.5 Nm, 3x clips

    

    

    

59. Install bolts securing upper portion of front fascia
    Nota

    4x bolts, 10mm, 7 Nm, Ensure proper fascia-to-headlamp gap and flushness

    

60. Install the underhood storage unit.

    

61. Install the underhood storage unit carpet.

    

    

62. Install the underhood storage unit access panel.

    

    

63. Install the front underhood apron.

    

    

64. Install the LH underhood apron.

    

    

    

    

65. Install the RH underhood apron.

    

    

    

    

66. Install the rear underhood apron.

    

    

67. Close the hood.
68. Unlock Gateway
    Nota

    After vehicle has been put into "Service Mode", place keycard on center console to turn on drive rails, hold down the brake pedal, while keep pressing right hand signal button simultaneously for at least 10 seconds, "GTW UNLOCKING" should pop up on the UI right next to the VIN during these 10 seconds, once gateway is unlocked "GTW UNLOCKED 5400" will be displayed on the UI next to the VIN, the gateway will remain unlocked for 90 minutes, follow steps on Toolbox article #5582900 for any additional information

    

    

69. Perform Thermal Performance via Service UI
    Nota

    Select Thermal > Actions > Test Thermal Performance, click Run, close once routine is completed

    

    

    

    

70. Perform HVAC Performance via Service UI
    Nota

    Select Thermal > Actions > Test HVAC Performance, click Run, close once routine is completed

72. Calibrate the RH falcon wing door.

    

73. Calibrate the LH falcon wing door.

    

74. Turn steering wheel back to center

    

75. Set air suspension ride height to Medium

    Using center display > Suspension > Medium/Standard

    

76. Raise the LH front window.
77. Close the LH front door.
