Retirar

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Elevación del vehículo - Elevador de 2 columnas.
  2. Coloque el vehículo en el Modo de servicio del EPB. Consulte Freno de estacionamiento - Pinza - Trasero - Lado izquierdo (Desbloqueo).
  3. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Faldón del vano del motor - Parte trasera (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  4. Place absorbent material under the brake booster and reservoir area.
  5. Remove the LH and RH rear wheel caps. See Tapa - Rueda (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  6. Remove the LH and RH rear wheels. See Conjunto de rueda (Desinstalación e instalación).
  7. Remove the LH and RH rear brake pad kits. See Kit de pastillas de freno - Traseras (frenos básicos) (Desinstalación y sustitución) or Kit de pastillas de freno - Traseras (frenos deportivos) (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  8. Remove the LH and RH rear rotors. See Disco de freno - Parte trasera - Lado izquierdo (Desinstalación y sustitución).

Instalar

  1. Install the LH and RH rear rotors. See Disco de freno - Parte trasera - Lado izquierdo (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  2. Install the LH and RH rear brake pad kits. See Kit de pastillas de freno - Traseras (frenos básicos) (Desinstalación y sustitución) or Kit de pastillas de freno - Traseras (frenos deportivos) (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  3. Install the LH and RH rear wheels. See Conjunto de rueda (Desinstalación e instalación).
  4. Install the LH and RH rear wheel caps. See Tapa - Rueda (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  5. Put the vehicle into Park to exit EPB Service Mode and engage the parking brake.
  6. Repeatedly press the brake pedal until firm.
  7. Inspect the brake fluid level and top off as necessary.
  8. Remove the absorbent material from under the brake booster and reservoir area.
  9. Install the rear underhood apron. See Faldón del vano del motor - Parte trasera (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  10. Remove the vehicle from the 2 post lift. See Elevación del vehículo - Elevador de 2 columnas.
  11. Asiente las pastillas de freno. Consulte Pastillas de freno - Pulido.
