Retirar

  1. Open all doors and lower all windows.
  2. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Faldón del vano del motor - Parte trasera (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  3. Move the driver seat fully rearward.
  4. Disconnect 12V power. See Alimentación de 12 V/baja tensión (Desconexión y conexión).
  5. Remove the LH instrument panel end cap. See Tapa del extremo - Panel de instrumentos - Lado izquierdo (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  6. Remove the LH middle A-pillar trim. See Guarnecido - Pilar A - Central - Lado izquierdo (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  7. Remove the LH lower A-pillar trim. See Guarnecido - Pilar A - Inferior - Lado izquierdo (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  8. Remove the driver footwell cover. See Funda - Zona de los pies - Conductor (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  9. Remove the driver knee airbag. See Airbag - Rodilla - Conductor (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  10. Remove the LH footwell duct. See Conducto - Zona de los pies - Lado izquierdo (LHD) (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  11. Release the connector lock, and then disconnect the J7 LH front door electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
  12. Release the connector lock, and then disconnect the J9 LH front seat electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
  13. Release the connector lock, and then disconnect the J10 instrument panel electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
  14. Disconnect the J11 HVAC electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
  15. Disconnect the inline electrical harness connector X909 from the LH body harness, and then separate it from the LH body controller module.
  16. Release the connector lock, and then disconnect the J1 power connector from the LH body controller module.
  17. Disconnect the J6 front underhood storage connector from the LH body controller module.
  18. Disconnect the J5 body 3 electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
  19. Release the connector lock, and then disconnect the J4 body 2 connector from the LH body controller module.
  20. Disconnect the J2 body 1 electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
  21. Release the electrical harness clips that attach the LH body controller module to the vehicle.
  22. Move the LH body harness away from the LH body controller module.
  23. Remove and discard the nut that attaches the LH body controller module to the vehicle.

    • Vaso de 10 mm de 12 puntas con cuello largo
    • Carraca estándar de ¼ pulg.
    • Llave dinamométrica de ¼ pulg. (solo instalación)
    • Extensión de 2 pulg.
  24. Slide the LH body controller upwards to release the W-clip, and then move the LH body controller module out from underneath the instrument panel.
  25. Remove the LH body controller module from the vehicle.

Instalar

  1. Maneuver the LH body controller module into position under the IP carrier. Align the W-clip with the body cutout, and then slide down to attach the LH body controller module to the body.
  2. Install a new nut that attaches the LH body controller module onto the body.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)

  3. Move the LH body harness towards the left side of the LH body controller module, and then attach the harness clips to the LH body controller module.
  4. Connect the J2 body 1 electrical connector to the LH body controller module , and then engage the connector lock.

  5. Connect the J4 body 2 electrical connector to the LH body controller module, and then engage the connector lock.

  6. Connect the J5 body 3 electrical connector to the LH body controller module, and then engage the connector lock.

  7. Connect the J6 front underhood storage unit connector to the LH body controller module.
  8. Connect the J1 power connector to the LH body controller module, and then engage the connector lock.

  9. Connect the inline electrical connector X909 to the LH body harness, and then clip it to the LH body controller module.
  10. Connect the J11 HVAC electrical connector to the LH body controller module.
  11. Install the J10 instrument panel electrical connector to the LH body controller module, and then engage the connector lock.

  12. Connect the J9 LH front seat electrical connector to the LH body controller module, and then engage the connector lock.

  13. Connect the J7 LH front door electrical connector to the LH body controller module, and then engage the connector lock.

  14. Install the LH footwell duct. See Conducto - Zona de los pies - Lado izquierdo (LHD) (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  15. Install the driver knee airbag. See Airbag - Rodilla - Conductor (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  16. Install the driver footwell cover. See Funda - Zona de los pies - Conductor (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  17. Install the LH lower A-pillar trim. See Guarnecido - Pilar A - Inferior - Lado izquierdo (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  18. Install the LH middle A-pillar trim. See Guarnecido - Pilar A - Central - Lado izquierdo (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  19. Install the LH instrument panel end cap. See Tapa del extremo - Panel de instrumentos - Lado izquierdo (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  20. Connect 12V power. See Alimentación de 12 V/baja tensión (Desconexión y conexión).

    Do not power on the climate control system until this procedure has been fully completed.
  21. Install the rear underhood apron. See Faldón del vano del motor - Parte trasera (Desinstalación y sustitución).
  22. Perform a service CAN redeploy. See Reinstalación de software - Toolbox.
  23. Sit in the front passenger seat and close the RH front door.
  24. Realice la siguiente rutina a través del modo de servicio o Toolbox (consulte 0005 - Modos de servicio):
  25. Move the front passenger seat to the original position.
  26. Raise the RH front window and close the RH front door.
  27. Move the driver seat to the original position.
  28. Close the LH front door.
  29. Inform the customer that their liftgate opening height settings have been reset and to refer to the owner's manual for instructions on setting the liftgate opening height.
