Toe Kick Cover - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH doors and lower the LH windows.
  2. Move the LH 1st row seat and LH 2nd row seat forward.

    Note
    Adjust the seat back if necessary to prevent contact with the headliner and other parts.
  3. Adjust the LH 2nd row seat armrest to its highest position.
  4. Release the inboard and outboard sides of the LH 2nd row seat shield assembly. See Side Shield Assembly - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model Y L) (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the bolts (x2), disengage the hooks (x4), then remove the toe kick cover from the LH 2nd row seat.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Socket 1/4in Dr. 6pt. Std. x 8mm

Install

  1. Engage the hooks (x4), install the bolts (x2), then install the toe kick cover to the LH 2nd row seat.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Ensure that the hooks are attached to the seat frame first during the process.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Socket 1/4in Dr. 6pt. Std. x 8mm
  2. Secure the inboard and outboard sides of the LH 2nd row seat shield assembly. See Side Shield Assembly - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model Y L) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Adjust the LH 2nd row seat armrest to its original position.
  4. Move the LH 2nd row seat and LH 1st row seat to their original positions.
  5. Raise the LH windows and close the LH doors.
