Duct - A Section - B-Pillar - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH front seat bolts, but do not disconenct the LV battery power now. See 1st Row Seat- LH (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the LH B-pillar duct B section. See Duct - B Section - B-Pillar - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Disconnect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  4. Remove the LH front seat. See 1st Row Seat- LH (Remove and Install).
  5. Remove the LH cabin carpet. See Cabin Carpet - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Partially remove the clip that attaches the cabin carpet to the seat riser.
  7. Fold the front edge of the LH rear main cabin carpet over.
  8. Remove the clip that attaches the LH B-pillar duct A section to the body.
  9. Remove the LH B-pillar duct A section.

    Note
    Disconnect the duct connection, and then remove it upward.

Install

  1. Install the LH B-pillar duct A section.

    Pass the duct through the seat riser, and then connect the duct port.
  2. Install the clip that attaches the LH B-pillar duct A section to the body.
  3. Restore the LH rear main cabin carpet.
  4. Re-install the clip that attaches the cabin carpet to the seat riser.
  5. Install the LH cabin carpet. See Cabin Carpet - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Position the LH front seat and conenct the LV battery power. Do not install the seat bolts now. See 1st Row Seat- LH (Remove and Install).
  7. Install the LH B-pillar duct B section. See Duct - B Section - B-Pillar - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  8. Install the LH front seat. See 1st Row Seat- LH (Remove and Install).
