Duct - A-Section - 3rd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH lower A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the bolts (x4) that secure the LH front seat to the vehicle, and then adjust the position of the seat for easy removal. See 1st Row Seat- LH (Remove and Install).
  3. Remove the bolts (x4) that secure the 2nd row LH seat to the vehicle, and then adjust the position of the seat for easy removal. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Install).
  4. Fold the 3rd row seatback down.
  5. Disconnect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  6. Remove the LH front seat. See 1st Row Seat- LH (Remove and Install).
  7. Remove the 2nd row LH seat. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Install).
  8. Remove the LH 3rd Row Duct B-section. See Duct - B Section - 3rd Row - Upper - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  9. Remove the LH lower B-pillar trim. See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  10. Remove the clips (x4) that attach the cabin carpet to the seat riser.
  11. Fold the LH front and rear main cabin carpets over.
  12. Lift the LH side of the rear carpet upward to remove the clip that attaches the 3rd row LH seat duct A-section to the vehicle, and then remove the duct from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Lift the LH side of the rear carpet upward to install the clip that attaches the 3rd row LH seat duct A-section to the vehicle.

    Note
    Ensure the interface is securely seated.
  2. Restore the LH front and rear main cabin carpets.
  3. Install the clips (x4) that attach the cabin carpet to the seat riser.
  4. Install the LH lower B-pillar trim. See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the LH 3rd Row Duct B-section. See Duct - B Section - 3rd Row - Upper - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the 2nd row LH seat but do not connect the LV battery power and secure the seat bolts (x4) at this time. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Install).
  7. Install the LH front seat. See 1st Row Seat- LH (Remove and Install).
  8. Install the bolts (x4) that secure the 2nd row LH seat to the vehicle. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Install).
  9. Return the 3rd row seatback to vertical position.
  10. Install the LH lower A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
