Seat Position Sensor - 5-Seater - RH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open both RH doors and lower both RH windows.
  2. Move the RH front seat forward.

    Note
    Adjust the seatback if needed to avoid contacting headliner.
  3. Position the 2nd row RH seat into the easy entry mode.

    Note
    Press the shoulder switch and push the 2nd row RH seat forward to position it into easy entry mode.
  4. Disconnect the 2nd row RH seat track position sensor connector.
  5. Remove the bolt that attaches the track position sensor to the 2nd row RH seat.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit

Install

  1. Install the bolt that attaches the track position sensor to the 2nd row RH seat.
    1.5 Nm (1.1 lbs-ft)

  2. Connect the 2nd row RH seat track position sensor connector.
  3. Move the 2nd row RH seat to original position.
  4. Move the RH front seat to original position.
  5. Raise both RH windows and close both RH doors.
