Headrest - 3rd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the 3rd row LH seat back panel assembly. See Panel - Seat Back - 3rd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Release the hooks (x3) that attach the 3rd row LH seat headrest cable to the seat back shell.
  3. Release the clips (x2) that attach the 3rd row LH seat headrest cable to the cable lock.
  4. Use long needle nose pliers (1082478-03-A) to locate the clip on the outboard recliner stopper of the 3rd row LH seat, rotate it counterclockwise, then pull the headrest cable outward to release it.
  5. Simultaneously press the guide button and insert a 90-degree pick (1115191-00-A) into the guide opening, then lift the headrest upward while engaged.

Install

  1. Align the posts of the headrest with the holes in the seat back. Press the headrest in firmly so that it is fully seated with a click.
  2. Align the 3rd row LH seat headrest cable with the slot, insert it using long needle nose pliers, then rotate it clockwise to secure and install it to the outboard recliner stopper.
  3. Install the clips (x2) that attach the 3rd row LH seat headrest cable to the cable lock.
  4. Install the hooks (x3) that attach the 3rd row LH seat headrest cable to the seat back shell.
  5. Install the 3rd row LH seat back panel assembly. See Panel - Seat Back - 3rd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
