 Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the 3rd row LH seat back panel. See Panel - Seat Back - 3rd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Fold the 3rd row seat back down.

    Protect the seat back upholstery if necessary.
  3. Disconnect the 3rd row LH seat back sensor connector.
  4. Remove the 3rd row LH seat back sensor connector clip.
  5. Remove the screw that attaches the sensor to the 3rd row LH seat frame.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  6. Press the sensor gently outward to release the tab and the location pin, and then remove it from below.

Install

  1. Gently push the sensor upward, until the location pin and the tab are seated in the appropriate position.
  2. Install the screw that attaches the sensor to the 3rd row LH seat frame.
    0.8 Nm (7 lbs-in)

    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  3. Install the 3rd row LH seat back sensor connector clip.
  4. Connect the 3rd row LH seat back sensor connector.
  5. Return the 3rd row seatback to vertical position.
  6. Install the 3rd row LH seat back panel. See Panel - Seat Back - 3rd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
