Harness - 2nd Row Seat (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH 2nd row seat from the vehicle. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the toe kick cover from the LH 2nd row seat. See Toe Kick Cover - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the seat back panel from the LH 2nd row seat. See Panel - Seat Back - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat back tilt sensor connector.
  5. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat back heat pad connector.
  6. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat recline motor connector.
  7. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat back blower connector.
  8. Remove the seat harness from the LH 2nd row seat back rest assembly by detaching the secure clips (x2) and hooks (x4).
  9. Remove the seat ECU mounting bezel and seat module assembly from the LH 2nd row seat. See ECU Mounting Bezel - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  10. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat armrest assembly connector.
  11. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat buckle connector.
  12. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat rail motor connector.
  13. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat cushion blower connector.
  14. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat occupancy sensor connector and set the sensor harness pigtail aside.
  15. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat cushion heater connector.
  16. Remove the harness clamps (x6) from the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly.
  17. Remove the harness clamp from the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly.
  18. Remove the LH 2nd row seat harness assembly by separating it from the side shield carrier.

    Note
    Carefully take the harness off the side shield to prevent damage, and ensure no harness branches get snagged.

Install

  1. Position the seat harness assembly onto the LH 2nd row seat assembly, route harness branches to components, and ensure the wiring harness is properly inserted into the side shield.
  2. Install the harness clamp to the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly.
  3. Install the seat harness to the LH 2nd row seat back rest assembly by securing the secure clips (x2) and hooks (x4).
  4. Install the harness clamps (x6) to the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly.

    Note
    Make sure that the harness clamps are installed in place.
  5. Connect the LH 2nd row seat rail motor connector.
  6. Connect the LH 2nd row seat cushion blower connector.
  7. Install the seat ECU mounting bezel and seat module assembly to the LH 2nd row seat. See ECU Mounting Bezel - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  8. Connect the LH 2nd row seat cushion heater connector.
  9. Connect the LH 2nd row seat occupancy sensor connector.
  10. Connect the LH 2nd row seat buckle connector.
  11. Connect the LH 2nd row seat armrest assembly connector.
  12. Connect the LH 2nd row seat recline motor connector.
  13. Connect the LH 2nd row seat back heat pad connector.
  14. Connect the LH 2nd row seat back tilt sensor connector.
  15. Connect the LH 2nd row seat back blower connector.
  16. Install the seat back to from the LH 2nd row seat. See Panel - Seat Back - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  17. Install the toe kick cover to the LH 2nd row seat. See Toe Kick Cover - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  18. Install the LH 2nd row seat to the vehicle. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Install).
