Heat Pad - Seat Back - 3rd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Note
The foam cannot be reused once the heat pad is separated from it. Order the seat back foam together with the heat pad.

Remove

  1. Remove the 3rd row LH seat back shell. See Shell - Seat Back - 3rd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the 3rd row LH seat back trim from the seat back foam, and discard the foam and heat pad together.

    The airbag is configured/folded in a specific manner and will need to be replaced if it is dropped, altered or manipulated in any way.

    Note
    The trim cover is held to the cushion by Velcro. Gently pull the trim inch by inch. Start from the lower seat back and work upward. Ensure the Velcro does not tear off the cushion.

Install

  1. Install the new seat back heat pad to the new seat back foam.

    Ensure the heat pad is properly adhered in place.
  2. Install the 3rd row LH seat back trim to the seat back foam.

    Note
    Starting from the upper seat back and working downward, gently press the seat back trim to attach the Velcro. Route the strap through the foam center.
  3. Install the 3rd row LH seat back shell. See Shell - Seat Back - 3rd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
