Seat base edges are sharp and can cause personal injury. Wear cut resistant gloves when removing the seat from the vehicle, and while performing procedures that involve work on or near the seat base.

Replace 1616775-00-B

Remove

  1. Remove the 1st row LH and RH seat assemblies. See 1st Row Seat- LH (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the center console duct. See Console Connect Duct (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the LH and RH B-pillar lower trims. See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the LH and RH front cabin carpets. See Cabin Carpet - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the clips (x4) that attach the rear cabin carpet to the body, and then fold the rear cabin carpet rearward.
  6. Remove and discard the bolts (x4) that attach the 1st row podium to the body, and remove the 1st row podium from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Align the locating tabs (x2) to the holes on the vehicle, and then install new bolts (x4) that attach the 1st row podium to the body.
    33.5 Nm (24.7 lbs-ft)

    • 11 mm deep socket
  2. Move the rear cabin carpet back to its original position, and then install the clips (x4) that attach the rear cabin carpet to the body.
  3. Install the LH and RH front cabin carpets. See Cabin Carpet - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the LH and RH B-pillar lower trims. See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the center console duct. See Console Connect Duct (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the 1st row LH and RH seat assemblies. See 1st Row Seat- LH (Remove and Install).
