Trim - Seat Back - 2nd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH 2nd row seat assembly from the vehicle. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the LH 2nd row seat headrest assembly. See Headrest - 2nd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat back heat pad connector.
  4. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat recline motor connector.
  5. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat back blower connector.
  6. Release the secure clips (x2) and hooks (x4), then remove the seat harness from the LH 2nd row seat back rest assembly.
  7. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the headrest frame assembly to the LH 2nd row seat back rest assembly.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  8. Remove the clips (x2) that attach the seat back rest frame to the LH 2nd row seat.
  9. Release the hooks (x4) that attach the seat back foam assembly to the LH 2nd row seat back rest frame, and then remove the seat back foam assembly.

    Note
    Take care to avoid damaging the seat trim.
  10. Remove the heater harness from the LH 2nd row seat back shell.
  11. Release the clips (x27) and positioning clips (x2) that attach the seat back foam assembly to the LH 2nd row seat back shell, and then remove the seat back foam assembly.
  12. Remove the Velcro strips (x4) that attach the seat back trim to the seat back foam pad, and then remove the trim from the foam pad.

    Take care to avoid damaging the foam pad.

Install

  1. Install the Velcro strips (x4) that attach the seat back trim onto the seat back foam pad.
  2. Secure the clips (x27) and positioning clips (x2) that attach the seat back foam assembly to the LH 2nd row seat back shell.
  3. Install the heater harness to the LH 2nd row seat back shell.
  4. Secure the hooks (x4) that attach the seat back foam assembly to the LH 2nd row seat back rest frame.

  5. Install the clips (x2) that attach the seat back rest frame to the LH 2nd row seat.
  6. Install the bolts (x3) that attach the headrest frame assembly to the LH 2nd row seat back rest assembly.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

  7. Secure the clips (x2) and hooks (x4) to install the seat harness to the LH 2nd row seat back rest assembly.
  8. Connect the LH 2nd row seat recline motor connector.
  9. Connect the LH 2nd row seat back heat pad connector.
  10. Connect the LH 2nd row seat back blower connector.
  11. Install the LH 2nd row seat headrest assembly. See Headrest - 2nd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  12. Install the LH 2nd row seat assembly to the vehicle. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Install).
