Recline Sensor - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH 2nd row seat back panel assembly. See Panel - Seat Back - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat recline sensor connector.
  3. Remove the clip that secures the LH 2nd row seat recline sensor connector.
  4. Tilt the seat backrest forward to a certain angle, remove the screw that attaches the recline sensor to the LH 2nd row seat frame, gently press outward to release the tab and location pin, then remove the seat recline sensor downward.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket

Install

  1. Tilt the seat backrest forward to a certain angle, install the screw that attaches the recline sensor to the LH 2nd row seat frame, align the tab and location pin, then gently push upward to install the seat recline sensor.
    0.8 Nm (7 lbs-in)

  2. Install the clip that secures the LH 2nd row seat recline sensor connector.
  3. Connect the LH 2nd row seat recline sensor connector.
  4. Install the LH 2nd row seat back panel assembly. See Panel - Seat Back - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
