Sliding Door Assembly - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the center console LH and RH front side panels. See Side Panel - Front - Center Console - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the center console LH and RH rear side panels. See Side Panel - Rear - Center Console - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the phone dock surround trim. See Surround - Phone Dock - Center Console (Remove and Replace).
  4. Disconnect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  5. Remove the LH and RH hockey sticks. See Hockey Stick - Center Console - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the center console phone dock and inductive charger module assembly. See Phone Dock - Center Console (Remove and Replace).

    Note
    No need to separate the phone dock and the inductive charger module.
  7. Remove the center console top face panel. See Top Face Panel - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the screws (x12) that attach the sliding door assembly to the center console.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  9. Disconnect the harness connector, and then release the clips (x6) to remove the sliding door assembly from the center console.

Install

  1. Connect the harness connector, and then install the clips (x6) that attach the sliding door assembly to the center console.
  2. Install the screws (x12) that attach the sliding door assembly to the center console.
    1.2 Nm (.9 lbs-ft)

    • Torx T20 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  3. Install the center console top face panel. See Top Face Panel - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the center console phone dock and inductive charger module assembly. See Phone Dock - Center Console (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the LH and RH hockey sticks. See Hockey Stick - Center Console - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the phone dock surround trim. See Surround - Phone Dock - Center Console (Remove and Replace).
  7. Install the center console LH and RH rear side panels. See Side Panel - Rear - Center Console - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  8. Install the center console LH and RH front side panels. See Side Panel - Front - Center Console - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  9. Connect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
