Harness - Wheel Speed Sensor - Front - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  2. Release the locking tab to disconnect the LH front wheel speed sensor and accelerometer 1 connector.
  3. Release the tree clips (x4) that attach the LH front wheel speed sensor harness to the upper control arm, the front knuckle and the body.
  4. Disconnect the connector that attach the LH front wheel speed sensor harness to the front damper assembly, and then release the grommet to remove the harness.
  5. Disconnect the connector that attach the LH front wheel speed sensor harness to the main front harness, and then remove the LH front wheel speed sensor harness.

    Disengage the red locking tab backwards, and then press the black tab to disconnect the connector.

Install

  1. Connect the connector that attach the LH front wheel speed sensor harness to the main front harness, and then engage the red locking tab forwards.
  2. Secure the grommet to install the LH front wheel speed sensor harness to the front damper assembly, and then connect the connector.
  3. Install the tree clips (x4) that attach the LH front wheel speed sensor harness to the upper control arm, the front knuckle and the body.

    Note
    Ensure the harness is routed correctly to avoid contacting with the moving suspension components. Inspect the clips and replace the damaged ones.
  4. Connect the LH front wheel speed sensor and accelerometer 1 connector and engage the locking tab.
  5. Install the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
